    I found a niche where:
    EMD: 3 words (there is one available in ORG/NET/COM)
    Competition: very easy,
    Traffic: 390/170 (broad/exact)... BUT
    CPC: 40$ !!!

    Some thoughts: if I play this game, the 3 word EMD has just 170 clicks/month => 5% from 170 = 8 clicks/month, but 8 x 40$ = 320$... NOT BAD, right?

    Also just word1 + word2 has about 3k exact searches and CPC 5$... well here the competition is more difficult, but can I rank and for the word1 + word2 as well?

    which keyword research toll have you used? CPC means that someone is paying that much for getting his ad shown in #1 on search ads. You wont get $40 per click from your ads on your website.

    4trusted is right.

    First of all $40 is the highest CPC.
    There could be only few advertisers paying that much. You may not always get the highest paying ads on your site.

    Secondly, google is not going to pay you 100%. You will only get a maximum of 68% of what sponsors pay.

    Probably you are right guys, I looked at GAKT, but after I looked at spyfu and SERP attacks, they both give an average CPC of 5 - 6 $ and according to the clicks per day it makes just 1$/day... not a big deal.

    And even if you get to page 1, you wont be getting 100 % of the traffic yourself, only a share of it.
