    Hey guys,
I am working with a CPA campaign right now through craigslist.
The campaign only requires them to put in their're email for me to get a lead.
It is not working out for me.
Does anybody know a effective way to get people to enter their email address?
It doesn't have to be completely honest.

    Thanks.

Are you using a landing page?

Depending on what the offer is you could add a freebie to sweeten the deal.

I advertise it as a job offer, So freebies wouldn't work very well.
I don't think I need a landing page for the offer, or maybe i'm wrong?

AFAIK, there isn't any sure fire method of getting people to submit their emailID. To answer your question, landing pages help to increase CR several fold. You are mistaken to think they are not necessary. they may not be but they are helpful. As WI30SN suggested, providing incentives to people always helps in conversions.

Set up a landing page with some type of related domain to your job offer, put an image of an email form saying something like "submit email here to apply", make the image a link, lock the link with the email offer from your cpa, bam. Maybe. Lol

It's pretty simple. Put in a splash page with a redirect after a few seconds which goes to your offer. On the splash page put a message that says in order for them to secure/claim their spot for the job offer they will need to input their email address. You can also have it read for them to "verify" their email address by inputting it again. Have the splash page look similar to your offer page. Be creative! Ask yourself, "want would make me continue with putting my email in?" Usually verification type landers work well.

For zip submits, here's another idea. If you're promoting an item like an iPad or gift card or whatever, use something like this, "Enter your zip-code into the store locator field and your (gift card, ipad, computer, etc...) will be processed and ready for pickup at that store. You can go to customer service to let them know you have a (gift card, ipad, computer, etc...) on hold from the (whatever you choose) annual giveaway.

And since you mentioned CL and biz opp, here is a campaign I used back in the day. It's geared towards someone signing up for a free trial rather than just an email submit, but if you find a free trial offer, it converts pretty well. :)

You could try a free landing page service, but they may not let you modify the code as much as you'll need to. Those would be WiX, Unbounce, etc. OR...Google for LifeHacker + Make Custom Landing Page. They've got a PHP script written.

If you provide crappy leads for the advertiser, you will either:

    1. Get booted from the offer
    2. Get booted from the offer and not get paid.
    3. Get booted from the offer, CPA network and not get paid.

So be very cautious when you send untargeted leads.
