    Hi
What way have you found to get your site registered with the main 4 search engines quickly and easily. Or is there a service people would recommend that can do it really quick?

Yes I have a few sites with many pages indexed by google, but no links come up at all, even though they are in yahoo and bing. Still learning SEO so thought maybe that method was missing something out causing this problem.

Here are some suggestions I gather from BHW members.

    - Suggestions by Greywolf
Get a backlink on any page that google crawls everyday.

Just do a search for 'indexing website', 'how to get indexed fast', 'index website', or whatever else you can think of till you get some good results. You'll find several methods that work very well, and very fast...Try BHW serach tool

    - Suggestion by The Scarlet Pimp
Get an account on twitter and post a link to your site.
it will get spidered in 5 minutes.

    - Suggestion by Zordon
You can use apps to make your site indexed rapidly:

    1. StatBlaster
    2. Scrapebox Rapid Indexer module
    3. PRStorm (will give some backlinks too)

You can also find a couple of website statistics sites, like this:

    websiteoutlook
    stimator
    seositecheckup

and enter your domain, it will create pages with links pointing to your site. Once google crawls these pages, it will find and index your site.

    - Suggestion by Bizroot
Fast indexing you could try bookmarking (digg, stumble or other similar sites).. They work like charm... Usually it takes few hours to get indexed through them...

    Hope this Helps

You probably were looking at the links in google, but google doesn't show all the links anymore, just a few, and sometimes even none, but that doesn't mean they are not there or that google doesn't see them.
Now to your original post, the most simple way is to add your sitemap at the webmaster central in google :)
    Good luck

    1. get one of the 10 scripts here that do this in the download section
    2. scrapebox rapid index module
    3. digg or other bookmarking type sites

if those fail you are retarded and should exit IM asap

I've just launched a site, trying to be as "whitehat" as possible, and I think I'm sandboxed :/ I've even resorted to using Google Webmaster Tools and can see there and in my weblogs that Google Bot's been to my a site a few times in the last couple of days, but I'm still not listed...

My crime: trying to get too many backlinks too quickly (using a "ping"/backlinks PHP script from this forum), to get it indexed quickly.

My advice: setup your site, manually submit it to Google, get one or two other popular sites (they don't necessarily need have to high page ranking, they just need to updated by Google often so it sees the link to your site) to link to you, wait for Google to index you, then work on getting more backlinks to boost your ranking.

Of course I could be wrong ;)

Don't give up... google is betting that you'll quit in 10 months or less. If you just hang in there you'll be just fine...

Thanks a lot some great ideas, I have recently got scrapebox , just learning to use it, i will try that and the twitter method. I didn't know about the fact that Google showed up as no links that wasn't just me messing up. I was checking the sites with Seoquake, not sure how accurate that is.

I find doing a handful of bookmarks on major bookmarking sites works for pages that are slow to index. That said, I find pages on my Wordpress sites seem to get indexed within a 24 hours anyway, doing nothing other than submitted an xml sitemap to the engines.
