Hello,

The past days I'm looking for ways how to get into email marketing-building email lists by scraping/renting/buying them and earn money. Can someone copy links or give me hints where I could find more information regarding it?

Anyhow,
Situation A: So far I have found a way to scrape (without their permission, but public info) hundreds and thousands of emails of people who could be VERY potential clients for the service I provide. The difficult part (of course) is getting the message inboxed.
Situation B: Regarding to Sit. A, i imagine I could build large targeted email lists, and heard of ways of people offering Solo Ads (or smth in regards PPC) where you send a message to your list and get paid for it by the click. Is it still possible?

In general I'm interested in ANY ways that could help me earn ANY amount of money. Criticism is accepted, however, argumented. :P

first try to warm up your list ( send email in order to filter those not active/those who are not intersted in your niche...etc) that's will lead you to reduce your
Email Delivery
budget

I have heard that this method may set you up on serious troubles.

Not sure about it

You can get into serious shit with this. In the old days you can get away with this but nowdays users actually go through the progress of reporting your email, you are better off starting something else plus your open/conversion rates will be shit.

Thanks for the tip! I wanted to clarify one thing I couldn't understand earlier, what is the difference between opt-in subs and not? I mean I understand that such subscribers GIVE ur email (opt-in) vs you GET urself (not opt-in.), however, how do email providers filter opt-ins vs not? i need to understand that.

I don't live in US and have never heard of people getting problems from that in my country.

I mean I can give you an example, you're a car repair website and I send you an offer of tires via email, how bad can it be?

Well be careful because that is considered spam and if we are speaking of a low amount of people's then you won't get in trouble at least I hope.

Also this is worse in Europe for GDPR law.

Wait let me understand. How is it wrong when the data is provided BY the recipient on a public place? I understand if I would send them emails from hacked databases or what not, but they actually ANNOUNCE it PUBLICLY for BUSINESS INQUIRIES. :D

emails with out opt in permision is ilegal fullstop ....

opt in >>> had permisson to send them info.

you can scrape millions of emails but there non opt in and bad ...

if reported can cause you huge headache

some marketers still do it, but it a huge headache hiding keeping below radar and cost smtp money(( email marketing not free has to look professional ))

1 f###up your in court.

So let me understand. If I say, if anyone wants to offer me business, do business, contact me via [email protected], and I just send people the email like they displayed, that's wrong? I mean the content is related and in such case, you can't offer your services anymore, I can't see the logic here.

I think GDPR has made it pretty hard. Unsubscribe option is a must and optin consent too

I’m not thinking of spaming (like including CPA offers or ANY links that would lead to a sale.).I’m just thinking of mailing people a sales pitch, having in mind they put their emails for that purpose. That’s not lay people talking about here, mostly business. Let’s say mass cold emails, ppl probably send them offers by single e-mail, handpicked and I just realized I could do it easier.

Ooh sorry for misunderstanding then you're free to send emails

If you don't have the individuals permission, and they have to specifically opt in to receive information from you it is spamming and illegal.

But setting that aside and more importantly, because of the way you have obtained the emails prospects are unlikely to engage with your offers and so you are unlikely to be able to make much money with the method as you propose doing it.

If I opt in to something I am more interested and likely to purchase than if I am spammed. So look to use your blackhat method as a way to boost a whitehat business. That will be far better in the long run.

In my opinion a better way would be to use your method to create custom audiences on Facebook, then run your ad campaigns targeted to them.

Looking to do something similar..Hit me up if you want to discuss further..
