I have old Google Play account from 2014 [around 10 years old]

some clients asked me to upload their apps in my account for around 50$
and for renting around 25$ every week to keep their app in my account

as a first impression I said, it's not enough money to waste my time with this kind of work

I took a few hours to re-think again, looks I can upload unlimited number of apps not only 1, a potential good business

currently I have around 5 apps, 125$ per week, 500$ per month as a passive income

with some more marketing, I can get more clients/apps and grow that business, specially when Google recently restrict the new accounts from publishing

Hopefully you review all teh code that gets associated with your account, since they are quick to ban people with malicious code, and it just takes one smart arse to rip you off, and put and end to your "business" this isn't a business really for this idea. Maybe if you had an ebook that you could sell that documents the process for listing your app ona marketplace, then that might be something.

If you are not using it anymore then you can just sell it for good amount. Renting is not a good decision I think, because you never know what code/malware/spy injected into the app they will publish. For that case, anytime your account can be suspended and it will be huge loss.

That's great. how client come to you?

I've even seen people launching ads on FB and IG asking for people who have old Google Play accounts.

I suggest to use the account for your own apps OR sell it for a good amount.

the people looking for some one to publish apps or their account are usually people running blackhat apps , so I doubt your account will survive. it will get banned they'll make their money and move on to the next account

I listen carefully to these advices, because my account is old & valuable and will be very sad if had been terminated

I agree, I should check the app codebase & upload it by myself
this will protect me

I prefer earning passive income by renting it

dont do that else you will lost your account its better sell them 1000-3000$ you will get easily

You're not the owner of the apps you're running and you are responsible of the apps are doing. One bad app and the account will banned.

You must not do this with this kind of account, as such accounts are already very rare in the market. You can sell this account through certain channels to users who need it.

oh man you have to have your own rules with them, you should make a contract that has terms for example: if my account is banned due to fraudulent use in your app then you have to pay the amount. .. compensation, that kind of thing.

However, for more sophisticated people, you should find a knowledgeable person to check the application first and then post it, it will greatly reduce the risk. If you are interested in this, we can discuss further.

In general, you should have a contract with them to confirm the risks and legalities because you are simply holding assets of no less than $1k. If I remember correctly, there was a guy in the mobile application section before that. This forum spent thousands of dollars to buy an account, he seriously creates software

Also, can I contact you? I have a few things I want to discuss further and come up with my own ideas.
