First, the number 10k is hypothetical. The example in this guide is not something I did myself, I just an idea, supported by some interesting findings with FB ads spy tool, that can help you make it real with a little of your own ingenuity.

This is the site we are going to talk about: http://www.myneckline.com/

It sells a crappy product for women who want reduce double chin and hanging skin on their neck. We know that they could simply do this exercise while lying on the floor without any accessories, but they don't and that's good, because you can sell them a crappy product:)

So they created this "fitness" product (lol, did I just call it a fitness product?!) and a sells page. They decided to get traffic with Facebook Ads which is a good and obvious choice because it lets them target age and gender specific. What do you think.... Which ads did preform best for them?

Maybe this one... Arrows always work, right?

Nop. That ad was semi-successful, running for 8 days, but stopped weeks ago.

What about that one?... In my opinion the sexiest picture of all.

    Also not doing so well.

You won't be always able to tell if an ad is preforming good or not, just by looking at the picture. Because sometimes, split testing shows that some bizarre ads do great while nice ads fail. So they did more spit testing and here are all their ads that did NOT perform well. All those ads below are crap, just like the product, heh.

Until they got lucky and found an ad that is actually making them enough profit. You would never have guessed that it was this one:

The winning ad is running in many countries, not just in US, but also in Italy, Canada, Germany, Spain, and Australia.... Even thou this works well for them, for god's sake, NEVER create 1 ad and target more than 1 country. You should always only target 1 country in 1 ad. In fact, you should probably break that ad down to several age groups and genders if possible.

It targets only women, duh, and to my surprise also quite young women. I expected this product will be more desired by middle aged and older women, but it looks that it works fine for also for younger age groups.

You can ignore interest because this particular ad is only demographically targeted. Profiles with interests can see it of course, but that doesn't mean those interest are used in targeting.

The purpose of this analysis is to brag with stats a little:p but also to show you that strange photos sometimes do well on Facebook and that the only really important factor of your success is CTR. You need good CTR to get cheap clicks.

Here comes the part how you can use similar techniques... It's called selling replicas. Please be advised that in some countries, laws are stricter than in others so authorities may actually penalize you for doing very quickly, but I still see a bunch of people selling it locally on their own sells pages (not a good idea to go on ebay). Sometimes they try to cover their asses with sticking something like this in TOS on sells page: "if we are out of stock, a customer will receive an identical product, but not the same. This substitute product has same features as the original. If a customer is not satisfied, he or she can ask for a refund or request an original product." Avoid using trademark names!

Product's like these are imported from China very cheaply. A popular site for finding such products is Alibaba. http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/346524935/Neckline_slimmer.html

I am not a specialist for Alibaba so do your own research before you buy from anybody. Google their name +scam, check how long they are selling there... If they don't accept wire transfer, they are already suspicious so be extremely careful. Again, don't just take my advice, google everything and check this site as well: http://alibabascam.com/

When you talk with a manufacturer representative, ask for a sample package. Usually a smaller set of items (30-50). Tell them that you will buy a lot more (even if you don't plan to) but you just want to test the quality of the merchandise first.

How much you earn depends from many factors. Your negotiated price, transportation costs, import taxes, your advertising and shipping fees per each customer, sells page, your final price tag, domain, hosting, etc...

As with all business types, you will need to grow bigger and stay well organized to bank a lot. Everybody can buy 50 crappy products from China and sell them in his home country. But not everybody can manage 10 products while keeping all costs optimized along with all storage costs and administrative work. Take your business seriously and you will succeed!

I see I should mention this more clearly. Those ads are NOT mine! The statistical data are from a spying tool for FB ads. It's an upgraded version of my previous BST thread. Call it pre-selling :) It's an example based on observation of someone else's campaign.

Hmm, how are you privy to this insider information?

Also, a legit way to do this would be just registering as an affiliate on myneckline.com

I believe the Op is giving that product as an example of many products that could sell on FB ads, it may be that those are his ads- he has the stats-just twist it up as there are 1000,s of products that could sell well

Ah I see. I was thrown off by his referring to the ads as "they" ran them and not himself.

Yes, thanks OP for sharing this. Very valuable information here.
