I dont really understand E*P*N, i can make various links for each different ebay country. They then drop that countrys cookie on their machine, that much I get.

But in my reports all the clicks show under US, not the relevant countrys. Am I doing something wrong?

Also if a UK user clicks a US link, then goes to .com but then changes to .co.uk, do I still get paid or do I have to get the UK cookie on the UK users PC and DE on DE residents etc?

Thanks.

Hiya,

This might help or be way off course lol...

I've just visited .co.uk, .com and .de
clearing cookies before and between visits.
each site drops a cookie for .com and also ebayrtm
the uk visit also dropped a .co.uk cookie too.

so yes, no matter which way your visitor comes in from your link, they're picked up and your paid.

as for reporting, I know you can put contry codes in the links, I'd assume they'd be reported thru.. not sure there.

Each link made for each country (unless you geo target) has a code in it to tell it what country to give credit for. So, if you are targeting US, then the code I believe is 53200. UK is 53481. If you have the wrong code in place, say you setup a UK link but somehow have 53200 in it, then the credit for the click will go to the US and you won't earn any revenue from what that person does.

Whats odd is i have the links setup just fine and do my own geo tageting, so uk sees 53481 and US see 53200 as you said. But in the stats all clicks seem to be reported under US.

Is this with the new links or the old style rover links? There may be something else in the code that helps determine now.

The only time I have come across this is when somehow I messed up the county code and the clicks showed, but I earned no revenue. Are you showing revenue on these clicks?

I'm just using their link generator so they have rover in them and are exacly as they are generated so not sure how i can mess them up.

I am stripping the img tracking impression code though...
