ughh so last night i drank a ton and me and a girl got in a huge fight so like a dumbass... i got in my truck and started driving.

i got pulled over for improper lane usage and was arrested for DUI.

I'm 18 years old and this is a first offense for DUI. does anyone have any advice for me? I run a fairly decent landscaping company so i think if I can prove that and that i need to get to school and stuff that they will let me get the new BAID thing where i need to blow before i drive, rather than suspending my license for 6 months to a year.

I really fucked up this time.. but on the other hand.. i'm not leaving my house any more until i start bankin with IM. I'm gonna start doing the cold calling and selling the advertising on first page sites for local companies like in that $10k a month thread in the offline section.

cool. rant over. thanks for reading. i can't wait to see stuff like "cool story bro" lol

#1 tip - GET A LAWYER. A good one - not some noob you see on the television. A good one will either get it dismissed or reduced. Good luck.

It's a sunny day in Myrtle Beach, SC!
First off, you shouldn't be asking or accepting to take any legal advice from anyone on a blackhat site. You should be stating your question/rant on a legal forum and go from there. But...

As said, get a lawyer. Under no circumstance should you attempt to defend yourself. Spend the cash, take out a loan, etc. but you better not show up to court taking this thing pro se.

Traffic court is normally open to the public. Call the court house and find out the days/times of this. Go and visit a few times so you can observe cases and how proceedings go. You will find others like yourself whom are facing DUI charges. From observing the proceedings of those people you will likely be able to find a competent lawyer to defend you.

The lawyer you choose should have a good relationship with the prosecution. This will better your odds that he can work out a reduction in the charge that is better for you and in turn saves the prosecution time (they want to get your case closed as quick as possible).

Case in point: Due your due diligence. Get a lawyer. Hope for the best. Be glad you didn't kill anyone. In the future, don't be a dumbass who drinks and drives. The drunk one always lives, the innocent one always dies.

DUI (Driving Under Influence ) is a serious criminal offence that result the suspension of driving license. When a person is driving or is in actual physical control of a vehicle within this state and is under the influence of alcoholic beverages, any chemical substance, when affected to the extent that the person's normal faculties are impaired; has a blood or breath-alcohol level of 0.08 or more.
you should seek legal help at once from an experienced DUI lawyer.
