I got enough room for 2 reg size monitors or 1 that's like 32 inches. Thoughts?

    2. No matter how big you have you still limited to same pixels and can only rage when all the windows are on top on each other .

One 28" at home as my main monitor with a 19" as secondary.

Two 19" at work. Man does Visual Studio look better on the 28"!!!

I have a 28" hannspree HSG1075 I got from the costco website for a little over $200 on special; if you go 26-28, check the resolution. Most TV monitors over 28" have weird, low resolution limits.

Anyways, i have 3x benQ 22"s and a 28" hannspree in the middle as my primary and a laptop on the side I honestly have a hard time working with less now. Once you go multi monitors you won't go back. I used to be a stock trader which is what got me into the multi monitor thing, but it's awesome for IM as well when you're running SENuke, scrapebox, xrumer, talking to 20 people on AIM, emailing, etc.

I went with a single 27" monitor so it could double as an HDTV (I watch everything via computer...)

Go dual, and if space allows go triple. Theres nothing better than having 3 X 22" monitors to do all your work on.

how much you can fit on the screen only depends on how many pixels you have, not the size of the monitor.

and for the number of pixels you get, dual monitors usually cost much less than 1 huge monitor. and you always have the option of upgrading to triple if you want even more space.

Syncmaster 226bw ( 22" ) is still awesome, the first one I have now for 3 years, and I have bought a second one some time ago.

It does help in a lot of things to have that much space to handle things.

Resolution is 1680x1050 and this is enough.

I like the double monitors better. It's just easier to hand like four windows, splitting each monitor in half. Triple productivity!

Depends on what you're going to use it for.

I develop software for a living so a dual monitor system makes my life easier.

Dual monitors! Definitely! I use them on the J.O.B. I still have, and will soon set up my second at home. There is just SO much more I get done with two, and I'm much better organized. I love them. Yup!
