At first I was going to recommend not going for a one-product site. Then noticed you've already started building it.

The main thing is - successful one product stores are a lot harder to build for beginners. There's a very small margin for error. Being a beginner, you won't ever be sure whether you've got a winning product on your hands, if your marketing/ ad targeting is on point or if your website design is the best it could possibly be.

And it's already your 3rd store, which for me looks like you're developing a tendency to quit easily if you see negative results.

Normally, people who build successful one product stores already know their way around the business.

Anyway, I wish you good luck and will be watching your progress.

    study.

I think the way forward understands:: keyword research::.

what I can make out you don't understand what selling now or is hot to sell soon.

I think you need to understand Amazon website and really master there best-selling products cross-matched with google trend and BuzzFeed and other kw stats to succeed.

getting sales is so easy once you understand what selling from amazon and kw stats.

then you need to learn to promote the items your selling .

i wish you good luck, I suggest you learn video promoting as that the quickest way to get items indexed to promote.

    I have said enough.

    gd luck

even though i am a newbie i believe the product i am selling is already a confirmed "winner". in fact... picked it up from guru youtube vid that was showing product research, was one product that was mentioned quickly as an example. a lot of orders on aliexpress... so plenty of dropshippers banking with it... i'm trying to get a piece of the pie

almost done with the store. just a few more things. can finish it by tonight. put in hours of straight work. mainly cause i want to get this done quick and move on to advertising. i'm prepared to drop a few hundred in facebook ads.. won't give up very easily if i see no results in like a week of ads, will give it at least 1-2 months

to sum up though: i believe the product is a "winner" or at least a potential one. my website design mirrors very closely other 1 product dropship stores that make money, i literally had their shops opened as i was making mine to make sure it is similar. my marketing and ad targeting is very very complete shit. that could be my downfall but again we will see. surely i am building some experience with facebook ads each time my stores fail, so i am hoping eventually something good will happen as i keep going

Your using a product you saw on a guru YouTube vid? Maybe I misunderstood but that sounds like a bad idea to me. How many other people will be doing the same thing with the same product?

probably a lot. but that may not be a bad thing. if so many people are doing it and there's so many orders, then why shouldn't i also have success with it? it is clearly in demand. also, making a quality site is kind of hard. definitely something that would take a fresh newbie a lot of work. the more experienced guys would be able to whip it up quickly. i expect most doing the product have sub par stores to be honest. and a few with the really really professional stores

for reference: the vid was about 30 mins long and the guy was flicking through products, one of them he commented has good potential and that was that. so i ended up going with that product

i was a bit lazy tonight. just need to finish the FAQ page and tweak the product page a bit. then gonna watch more videos on facebook ads and a 30 minute long store case study. after that will jump into facebook ads and apply the methods and what i've learned

i've been thinking about longetivity again. i think i'm wasting too much time bullshitting in my head and thinking how i can make a legitimate long term business out of all this. so many people i see have success with dropshipping and they just focus on selling right NOW and pushing their cheap aliexpress products right now. sure they turn over tons and tons of profit, but what is the future in this? do they just keep making one product stores and riding them until they eventually die? because really they would die down at one point, can't keep a 1 product train running forever, would need to keep testing different video ads for the same product, and different audiences. i really want to ask this to some of the successful aliexpress dropshippers making 5 figures per month+, what is their future?

maybe i should just get good at making a new 1 product store every 6 months. that will be my long term business? one product stores, keep them profitable for as long as i can, then churn out another. lol.... if it can actually be long term, i don't mind

enough bullshitting in my head and fantasizing about these things. tomorrow will continue to take massive action and execute my facebook ads in a precise and methodical way

Get one store up and running and making money, then work on your next one, once you do it once successfully, then next ones will be easier.

Keep grinding ... instead of running one product store, why don't you pick a general store name and list this product along with other related products? Once you list handful of products, you can run ads for your targeted product alone. This will bring some upsell for sure. Also, once you feel that your product is dying, you can go and list your next product in the same store. At This time, you have audience list to target easily and reputation for your store.

ads are running right now, testing 5 ad sets. few interests and few LLA created from 95% video viewers. when i first started i made 2 ads targeting worldwide and PPE just to test the 2 creatives. both had similar results in terms of cost, but one had 4x as many likes on the facebook vid compared to the other one. and this one i spent 1/3rd of the money. so less money and more likes, so i went with that one

so now i'm at 5 ad tests and testing them. going to let them run for 4 days, campaign budget for all is $40 per day. once i hit $20 spend per ad set i will decide to either kill it or leave it. i think this is the right way to initially test, based on the vids i've been watching. i heard you don't want to kill them off too early since there really isn't enough data to decide. obviously i will kill off ads that have no engagement after $10 spend. after 4 days of running these and killing off some bad ad sets i will ad a few more ad sets to the mix and test those

then just continue testing new adsets based on current and somewhat successful ad sets that i'm running

hopefully i can find a few audiences/adsets that are profitable and then go from there

great, i'm off to a good start. launched the store on friday, completed it over the weekend, advertised for 2 days, and already 1 sale. maybe another sale tomorrow? turned off 2 adsets and added 2 new adsets. running 5 adsets right now, $35 per day campagin budget. ordered the products from aliexpress using oberlo, once it has shipped i will fulfill using oberlo

will evaluate the ads tomorrow, once i get $20 spend on an adset i will determine if i should kill it. until then will have them all running, maybe will add 1 or 2 more tomorrow, we'll see

If a YT guru puts in their vid that would be a sign that the product is already dead. Although if you've already got a sale that's a good sign. Orders alone aren't a good indicator though.
What's more important is the ratio of daily sales to total sales. A hot product will have a ration higher than 2-3%.
E.g. product sells 100 today and has 10,000 orders would be a 1% DS/TS ratio.
A low DS/TS ratio usually implies it's a product that was once hot but is now past it's peak.

i think there's still some juice in the product, i personally have never seen it before. and it's something that i would use myself, i actually ordered it on ali myself because i need it lol

haven't seen a facebook ad about it so it's not completely dead like fidget spinners. the product has a consistent few hundred orders per day on aliexpress

Two days in advertising already and I’ve had two complete idiots comment under the ad and say they got the product at $2-4 on amazon or Aliexpress??? What are these morons thinking when they make these comments, god. Spending money on ads here and they’re blowing up my spot. Is there a way to disable comments on the ad? Cause I have to manually go and delete this when it happens and it definitely kills my conversion rate

    guys watch this:

this is how you stop idiot morons from commenting on the ad: "JUST GOT IT AT $2.99 ON ALIEXPRESS AND AMAZON BRO". fucking ass holes

on the flip side: my facebook ad has 28 likes and 2 shares so not bad, it keeps growing each day with more likes. no sales today, and daily spend is $35 per day. hopefully things pick up, will let the ads run until they hit $20 in spend then will evaluate

also guys: make sure you make an IG page for your store

i know, it takes more work and you're not gonna post anything besides ads, but trust me, just make it. and when you run your ads, attach your IG account to it

now you can filter dumb IG comments as well. go to settings -> privacy -> comments. copy and paste the list in

congrats, now you've filtered out all dumb comments from ever getting near your ads. hopefully i don't wake up to a dumb comment again, if i do then will add more keywords to the list

just put up 6 adsets and killed 2. i'm pissed cause facebook used $15 which is half my ad budget in only 4 hours. and got no results at all. killed off the damn adsets that have been eating my money. i think this store still has a chance to be profitable? i'm hoping these new adsets will convert for me. already $70 spent on interests and $100 in total due to the PPE campaign i ran at the start. sold 2 items at this point. going to give it some more time with the ads. if this keeps going at this rate though then i'm going to have to kill the store. would need a new product cause i'm simply not seeing the sales here despite my testing and efforts
