Dropshipper going Affiliate. AMA and help me choose a niche.

Hey guys,

I'm a dropshipper who has been making bank with my store for the last 3 years. But I'm sick and tired of dealing with all the headaches that come with dropshipping: crappy suppliers, slow shipping, angry customers, chargebacks, etc. It's has become a nightmare! The money is good but it's boring as hell.

I want to switch to affiliate marketing. It's much easier and more profitable than dropshipping if done right. With all AI tools out there, it's not about writing any more, it's basically a content hyper production. Plus, I don't have to worry about inventory, fulfillment, or customer service.

I have some skills that I think will help me succeed in affiliate marketing. I know how to rank on Google, create awesome content, build an email list, and use social media to drive traffic. I also have some cash to spend on tools and ads, but this will be my last resort, I prefer slow organic growth. It will be a 1–2 year project and transition. But there's one thing that's holding me back: choosing a bloody niche.

I have no idea what niche to pick. There are so many options out there, and I don't know which one is best for me. That's why I need your help and advice. I'm also willing to answer any questions you have about dropshipping or affiliate marketing. AMA! I need objective insight so I can pick a niche to focus on.

Share your wisdom and insights with me. I appreciate any feedback you can give me. Thank you!

P.S. Don't tell me to pick a niche that I'm passionate about or have deep knowledge of. That doesn't work for me. I'm passionate about quantum physics and have deep knowledge of it, but there's no money there, low search volume and not scalable. I need someone who can look at me objectively and tell me what niche will make me the most money.

P.P.S. Also, don't suggest any Clickbank or similar programs that offer a lot of scammy products and create complex funnels. I'm not interested in those. I want to keep it simple: write a money-making blog post, link to products and software, and make money from sales. Amazon will be one of the programs that I will be using, and although the commission is low, the conversion rate is insane.

Hey dude, congrats on all your success with dropshipping. If you have the funds maybe you should consider buying a content site that's already established from one of the broker sites out there. It'll give you a headstart and then you can apply your affiliate marketing skills to grow it

i also thought about starting an Dropshipping or an Affiliate marketing site. atm i do some research and look wich one would be better for me to start.
for Affiliate i thought about buy an already indexed site wich some backlinks and some posts so i can skip the forst few months of indexing...
What do you think should be my budget for start Dropshipping or for start Affiliate marketing

Hey man - is there a list of such trusted brokers here on the forum, or at another place? Ideally a broken that is reliable in terms of doing proper DD if what has been offered is genuinely as advertised?

tried dropshipping once. most people think its an easy simple side business. But its WORK like everything else

Since u already done dropshipping, u should have a clear mind of what products sell good and profit margin, then i think u can start from those same or similar products. Simply switch from dropshipping to affiliate, same products but a different way to handle.

Since you've already made good money with dropshipping, you can work with a partner and run a successful e-com business for him.
In exchange for that, you take a cut from his sales. I'd be interested in something like this if you offer.

This is amazing advice! I might do that, no matter what niche I choose. I have 25.000 email subscribers, so I can get some traction quickly.

I tried with older domains with a lot of backlinks, and it didn't work. I have three dropshipping stores; one is my main money maker, and the other two are 3 months old. One is an aged domain with 100 backlinks (DF); most of the backlinks are acquired organically, and linking domains are DR 20–40. This store is ranking very poorly on Google. And my other new store (a clean new domain) is getting some sales from Google. Go figure. It was indexed in 5 days and started getting clicks in 2 weeks.

When it comes to affiliate marketing, here is my idea (feel free to roast me):
I bought the domain ecomgoats. com (nothing there yet, mods pls remove the link if it's against any rules), and I plan to write about the sh*t I know well. I mean, I will just proofread the stuff AI spits out and make it pretty, but you get the point. I am creating topical authority articles about dropshipping and plan to expand to "making money online" as my core niche. It will be a learning hub with 100% free knowledge — no paid courses or any of that BS, just plain knowledge and insider information. I am planning to write about the tricky stuff—the things no guru will tell you when you start your e-commerce journey. Stripe disputes, traffic sources (guerilla and mainstream), where the real money is in this business, stuff like that. I will try to avoid generic articles that can be found everywhere because that sh*t will teach you nothing.

Most of the articles say, "Open a Shopify store, find a winning product, and make millions". And people starting dropshipping don't know how to put a logo on their store, how to make a gif, or how to optimize the product page for a high conversion rate.

So, this is my main idea; I'm working on it as we speak.

No, man, thanks. Crypto + lottery is a bit tricky for SEO. Extreme competition and a very high chance of getting flagged by Google.
I plan to create a crypto niche on my website and push binance or bybit affiliate links for spot and futures trading.

I’m not sure if there’s a partnership section in the forum. Or maybe try speaking to affiliate programs thread owners, if I’m not wrong there’s an affiliate section.

Maybe you can looking into products or services that can be relate to your expertise, dropshipping?

I think you need to update your sale mind base on your dropshopping work.
You are scucess in dropshipping and should to choose a vertical product among your products as a long-term niche operation,
When your brand keywords search value increased in Google, custom anything on your brand, logo, design, etc.

This will be a long and relax NICHE, i am doing this always.
