    Hi guys,

Creating this topic to help me focus on my goals, share with you, and maybe, even if i'm far from being successful, motivate some people!

    Who I am:
French guy, 31 y/o. Living close to Paris.
Worked in Real Estate Management for more than 10 years until january 2018. My last job was in the heart of Paris. I managed more than 1,100,000,000.00 EUR of property value. Hundreds of millions of euros of renovations and architectual projects.

Really interesting job, but deep down, I always thought it was big shit! (the level of stress and responsibility was far too high compared to what I was getting out of it! About $50k/year...)
I had already left a job overnight because of the pressure. And I couldn't take it anymore one more time..

So i quit. Not knowing what i was going to do.

    How I started:
One day, I don't know how, I came across a dropshipping video on youtube (lol)
I have always been very suspicious of the "marketers" you see online, but the subject seemed interesting.

So I researched it. More and more. I had to spend 3 months watching videos, reading articles, documenting myself...

And then one day, last summer, I decided to go for it.
With, of course, a lot of difficulties! And there will always be!

    Anyway, I'll keep it short.

    My websites:

    Today, I have 3 sites

    - My first site: ultra nested site, on which I sell some relatively expensive products: The best-seller is often sold for $129.99, sometimes $99.99, and (very rarely) $199.99. Based on current promotional offers. I started with this site so, and think it has potential. Nevertheless, I didn't push him for an important reason: My best results came from European countries, but this product did not meet European standards. This is a product that affects the safety of users. Quite risky then...

I have a US market, and Brazil deserves to be tested. Getting things right again is part of my projects to achieve my objectives.

As you can see, i'm getting few organic sales recently. Coming from people who heard of the site last year, and some IG followers.
My IG is around 10k followers right now. I was using GrowBot for quite some time, but stopped it for monthes...
I am currently trying Jarvee, and have launched F/UF. I have to look at it deeper, since i wanna make it post automaticly for me also.

    - Second site. Kind of the "thrash website"... Some kind of generalist "teleshopping" website, on which i tested a few products, and had results with a cheap product that everyone knows!

Currently I have no objectives with this website. Maybe product testing if i have time for it. But it's really not sure. This website is also in USD for US market, and i dont wanna work anymore with Paypal. Too expensive, and too complicated. Maybe i'll list the website on the marketplace to sell it.

    - Third and last : a site in a very large niche, which only targets France. My goal is to expand into French-speaking Canada in the near future. Belgium and Switzerland are too small markets for me to focus on, and I already reach them naturally through publication sharing and word of mouth. This site represents the majority of the revenues generated, and has the more potential to grow.

Objectives for this website are the following :

    - Keep it growing. Bringing more and more quality content.
    - Do e-mail marketing effectively. More than 2000 people have subscribed to the newsletter
    -Expand my way of communicating:
Microinfluencing campaign. I have some contacts to confirm quickly, but first I have to do a quality-check.
Position myself on Pinterest. I know absolutely nothing about it, but I have a feeling that it can be a huge source of traffic.
Do SEO. I took care of the on-site SEO, and just found someone to take care of a first campaign.

    Main focused objectives:
Reach $140k of sales by August 16, 2018 (date of my first sale), and find someone to buy the biggest website for September.

    How ?
To achieve this result, I have to focus on my biggest site, and achieve the objectives listed above. I expect a strong sales period from late June to mid-August, and I shouldn't miss this appointment
Tomorrow I would draw up a prioritized list of actions to be taken, and post the results as they come in.

    Why this post?
The main objective of this post is to allow me to review my thoughts and objectives. He is also there, of course, for us to exchange ideas. I have nothing to sell.

    Actions of the day:
    - Work on on-page SEO : Ongoing
    - Found somenoe to handle my first SEO campaign : Done
    - Placed few orders for customers : Done
    - Find a good cashback solution : To do
    - Find a product to add (one per day) : To do

I'm going to stop there for this post, which is already very long, when I feel like I didn't say anything...

This post certainly looks disorganized, sorry for this, and thanks for reading me !

Feel free to ask any questions. I'm using fb/IG ads as main source of traffic.

Nice earnings. What's the profit margin if you don't mind me asking?

What platform are your stores built on?
    Are you using AliExpress?
What have been the biggest struggles so far?

    Thank you :) Good luck

I was the owner's representative and in charge of the financial, technical and legal management of the buildings.

    Profit is around 25k€
    Stores are on Shopify
I use Aliexpress, and some sourcing companies.
Biggest struggle is to stay consistent.

Yes, alone. Friend of mine helped me at some point with Customer Service, but I stopped working with him for different reasons.
I'll have to find another VA for July

    around 25k€

    Yes Shopify.

    Payment processor = Stripe.
I also use Paypal of my US website, but i try to avoid as much as i can working with them. Their fees are too high, and i get f***ed by their conversion rates / hidden fees.

Here are some of the things i'll have to do quickly :

    - Finish my On Page SEO
    - Find a payment processor for Brazilian market (ebanx?)
    - Work on new collections for July. Do some "guests" collection. Already in contact with some people for this.
    - Quick creation of a monoproduct store. Concept found in US, and that can kick it in France. Domain name and Shopify store already bought
    - Find a quality VA who's speaking french, to work with me july, august, september.
    - Switch from Stripe to Bluesnap? To confirm, but it looks more interesting (lower fees, no fees on disputes!)

Today's missions : Get the on page finished, bluesnap registration, ebanx contact.
    "Easy"

    Heyah

I've been working pretty hard those last days, so, for the few people who might be interested in my journey here is a quick update :

    - On Page SEO is almost finished on my main website. Main product is already ranking up. Main image is result #7 in google search image. Not bad. Need to rank up the page now.
    - Call scheduled with Ebanx payment processor for Brazilian market
    - Added 1 collection with few products. Added also some products in my main collection. Have also found someone who's gonna prepare for me a collection. Deadline 25 june. We gonna market it in a certain way that, I hope, gonna be liked by customers => "The collection of *Amanda" with a quick presentation of her in some kind of interview. Objective is to reach other people than the one i reach ATM with my collections, and to create some kind of "proximity bound" with the potential customers, inducing buy willing.
    - Monoproduct store project has been aborted. I've been reviewed some stuffs, and i dont think that it's worth it
    - Bluesnap dont work anymore with Shopify unfortunuatelly. I'll stay with Stripe then.
    - Made around 350$ USD organic sells those last days.
    - Created my Twitter Business Account. I had a negative review on this network, so i posted around 30 pictures of my products so the review is at the real bottom of the scroll. Negative review dont show up anymore.

Also, i'm gonna try to kick it hard for the 20 days left in May.

I've worked hard on my visuals yesterday, and launched test campaign this morning.

As you can see, after only 3 hours running, results are promising :

I'm gonna scale this pretty hard. Hope results will follow!

Objective is to be around 800 - 1000$ in adspend for next Monday, 3k revenue/day minimum until 31 may. I'll scale as much as i can, but cashflow is a problem in dropshipping.
I'll have to make few calculation here, and ask FB to raise my billing amount !

Maybe the 60k for August are gonna arrive faster than what i tought. :D
Product is dope, customers love it, and i make a shit ton of money on it.

Buying for 24$, selling for 78$. Breakeven point around 50$. Pretty sweet.

To do list for today :

    - Create new audiences + lookalike audiences for scaling. I will also give a shot to French Canada. Maybe i have customers here to catch.
    - Answer mail (need va talking french!!)
    - Bit of SEO
    - Sleep!!!

Feel free to ask me anything about fb ads, marketing, or dropshipping in general, this post is also made to help people who are struggling, or wanna step up :) (even if Im far from being a big player!)

    Cheers

How much do you think is required to start this type of business to start to reach 2000 euros in ROI ?
How do you feel about arrival of AliExpress in france ?

Maybe i missed something but most traffic is from fb ads? Because the ads you showed are pretty "small"

What do you mean by "2000€ ROI"?
For me, ROI = revenue / amount invested

You could earn 2k in 1 day as in 1 year, depending on the amount spent :)

If you wanna know with how much you can start, if you're smart and doing things well, with clean trusty website, good marketing, good analysis of your potential customers, then you can start with pretty much anything.

300$ could be short but enough. 500$'s fine, 1k is large (imo). The most u get, the most you'll be able to pay for ads and customer products, without having to wait for the payments to arrive on your bank account.

My advice for a low budget would be to start by instagram influencers (well chosen!), then build some lookalike audience with the datas collected from shoutout, to climb with FB ads.

Also, if u wanna save some money and use Shopify, you can find on fiverr some guys selling some "never ending trial account" (search this on fiverr - "toprussian" is the guy i'm buying accounts to, he always provides super fast)
Which means u won't have to pay for the monthly fees until you reach 50 orders.
Pretty sweet saving when u start on a low budget!

You can also find some themes much cheaper than on the Shopify market, but i can't say anything about it, since i never bought any one of them (bought one, but on an official way. Didn't know it could be bought somewhere else)

I personnaly started with 260$ and was total noobish to all Internet Marketing, Online money making etc.

Aliexpress has made some great progress on shipping time since few weeks. Most of my orders arrive in 16-18 days, which is totally OK.
Things will be more better with Aliexpress coming in Europe, and i cant wait for it to happen :)

Ads were cut for 10 days. My last campaign was over (deadline of the offer 1st of May).

I never push too hard the first days of relaunching. I need to see how my audience's gonna react to everything.

    Marketing, visual, communication, pricing, etc...

I've raised the price on my best sellers (one more time) with this campaign, so i wanted to know if it wasnt too much.

Looks like not so far with a 7.64 ROAS :

Also, since i'm now launching only some 25$ adsets, spending can shoot up super fast !
I'll study the best new adsets / audiences to launch after this post.

    Small tip:

    - Why do i cut some adsets only after 3$ spent?

No add to cart, yes, but one more important thing :
    Look CTR : 0.65% & 0.83%. Pure crap!

Very few people know this, but, your adsets have a "FB Internal Rate" (not the relevance score, a rate that we dont have access to), which is delivered to your adset after 1000 impressions.

For FB, low CTR = no interest from the audience to what you're showing to them = Bad Internal Rate = FB won't ever give u good placements for those adsets = you'll loose money letting them run.

This does not mean you have to give up on this audience !
On a pool of 700k, 1M, 2M, sometimes even 4million people, you can get unlucky and not reach the right people at the launch of your adset.

If you think there is no reason this audience won't react well to what you sell, then my advice is to duplicate the adset, and retry.
Usually i give an audience 3, 4 tries when i really think there is no reason it wouldnt work.

This info has been shared to me by a Marketing Specialist, working @ Facebook, so it's real.

For the cut adset with 14 Add To cart, it was a duplicate from one of the 30$.

This is less sure, and more "my own cooking", but i now prefer to have as few adsets as possible on an audience, and raising budget daily, instead as duplicating x10.
I feel like the more you duplicate, the worse audience reacts, the more expensive it becomes to have a purchase, due to competiting with yourself.

Some people say "dont care about this until you spent 3k daily". I dont agree with this.

This cut might be a mistake, i don't know actually.

    Cheers

I'm sorry but i'm not sure to understand your question.

Before relaunching ads today, i had around 100 visitors / day, mainly coming from fb + ig followerss + customers.

My SEO is not good enough to get traffic from google & stuff

    Do you use pictures/videos?
    Some special colors/badges?

    Thanks!
