Dropped position from 1st page to the 5th due to poor backlinks. Any chance to restore?

Hi there. There is my previous topic about my first experience (check the last sentence). The last thing I did, was buying 360 permanent edu backlinks and seem like those really sucked. What I got was duplicate content with the same anchor all over wiki profiles at edu pages. I wonder, if it was the reason that my position by the main keyword dropped from the Google's first page to the 5th and 6th?

Question 1. Is there any chance to restore my position with little or no blood?

Question 2. Is it possible to flip this website for a few hundred bucks? It have had about 200-250 uniques daily being somewhere in the end of the first page. Total monthly net revenue for June was around $100 through Adsense and affiliate programs and it's only 1.5 month old.

    Thanks!

p.s. my last post on BHW called "IM newbie. $100 bucks made after first month, need further advice" Can't post links unfortunately

Oops, I found a lot of information about this at BHW for now. But I've got one more question.

If I fix those backlinks (in case that was the reason), and delete them, will it help somehow?

[update] I checked the website without TLD and it's not even in fifties, although my youtube channel, FB page and twitter are still there. Does it mean I was penalized by google?

[update2] I checked some phrase from my website and two of my web 2.0 blogs take #1 and #2. The thing is, I just copied the content with no spinning, but: 1) the website content was created much earlier, 2) I have already deleted those blogs a few days ago. Seems like they're still in cache. Are they going to stay there forever?

Yes you have suffered a penalty.

If you clean up your backlink profile and add some fresh backlinks with much more varied anchor text you should see some lift, although it depends how much work you have to do to clean up those backlinks. It could be easier starting a fresh domain.

The deleted blogs should disappear in a few days.

I don't know how many bad backlinks you have, but it might be hard/impossible to remove all of them.

    Work on building good backlinks.

How to know, are those web 2.0 blogs or wiki edu backlinks was the reason for penalty?
