have a window tinting business that get most of my leads from
listing under local business in the google search . I have been
A (first ) for 10 months under window tinting orlando . I also show up
3 rd in line for the generic section. About 4 weeks ago i dropped
to F ( fifth place) and then this week end i dindt even show up . Even
when i click on the map my location comes up as a small dot not even a letter.
I even put in" window tinting 32807" my zip code and it doesnt show up .
The only thing happened that last month was i cancenlled my yellow page ad
but it wont be deleted till nov31 . I did add a video to my 1st page 2 months
ago . I did have guy do optimisation last year and it work graet for 10 months
and now i am off the maps.
Whats the weirdest is the top 4 people dont have a website just a google map
list and they are not busy shops Not sure if i was blackballed from google maps
or what
my website http://www.orlandoflyingwindowtinting.com
local search "window tinting orlando "

I notice that my site randomly drops sometimes and then comes back a bit
higher in the serps. My suggestion is to build a few new links and change up
the site a little bit, add some new content. You should be back in no time.

Unless, what kind of shady stuff have you done to your site? Anything recently?

nothing really, i would under stand if i dropped from 1st page to 2 nd page but i dropped to the 10th page in 1 day . Added a video and i stopped my yellow page display ad but kept my free 1 line listing .

Well 2 days ago i signed back up to advertise with bellsouth on line and magically i am back on the 1st page of local listing . I asked them if they had anything to do with me not being listed in google local business search and they said they had nothing to do with it .MMMMM

Yeah add content and try adding high PR backlinks. Like 1 packet of Angels backlinks should do it.

I don't think Bell south had anything to do with it. Google did change their algorithms for local search. Rankings have been going crazy! You want to make sure that you have selected one of Google categories in your main categories.

Blog about your site as much as possible on other sites. Make sure to list your company and phone number in your title and your article. You can use some bookmarking sites & WP MU sites. This will ensure that you stay on top. In a worse case scenario, you can create a new account with a different phone number.
