Is it worth buying dropped domains for your PBN? I am talking about the dropped domains with some metrics like PR, DA/PA, TF etc. Do they lose value after they are dropped?

    thanks.

All day long, Leena. The backlink profile and the site history content is what I look at when I buy them. If that is strong and clean it is usually something to consider.

If you are referring to domains that have completely expired (compared to those that are going through the auction process) then yes, of course they still hold a great deal of value if the links are still in place and their history is clean. That's why crawling for broken links is still so popular when trying to find domains for PBNs.

If a domain has expired over many months ago it will be deindexed purely because google has nothing to index and this is not and should not be a measurement as to whether a domain is quality.
The true quality falls in the links, anchor and history? If your sure to decipher a clean and spam free dropped domain with decent metrics, such domain will pass great link juice and is worth to register. Most of such domains get re-indexed fast by google if you upload some content after registration.
Just be careful if the domain has more than 3 registrars and more than 1 drop as such domains likely have been spammed.
    Cheers
    Dan

The ones with solid backlink profile don't. Actually I own such a dropped domain which I've rebuilt and now it is ranking like a charm with the old backlinks.
