Anyone here had any luck with driving traffic through the link in your profile?

I ask because I can't seem to drive traffic any other way on Pinterest these days, well I can, but it's only through DMing but that gets my accounts banned easily, and the conversion rate is bad.

I think driving traffic through profile link is the way they do it on Instagram, isn't it?

If so, then it should work on Pinterest as well.

I doubt anyone checks your URL in profile. It's not that simple as IG.

Repinning doesn't work for you?

I remember good old days when you could just throw your pin URL in addmefast and get bunch of repins. Pinterest algo would consider the pin as popular and you'd get a lot of traffic.

What's repinning good for aside from building up your boards? You can't have your url in repinned pins. And I don't just mean random visitors checking the url in my profile, I mean for instance, adding comments on people's pins telling them to check out the website in my profile etc.

I meant repinning your own pins with 10s or 100s of fake profiles ;)

Oh, yes, actually that has worked for me in the past, but the problem is, I could never produce enough images to use. I would use other people images, but I'm always afraid of copyright laws etc.

Yeah, that might be a problem, but it's worth risking :) also, there's Canva, free tool that you can use to create beautiful pins in minutes. It shouldn't take you more than 1 hours to create 15-20 nice pins each day.

Then pin it to your main account and repin with bunch of fake ones.

What do you use for the source urls? Do you use spintax?

Own URL of course. However, the key us to mix your pins with pins from other sites. For example, if you pin 5 of yours, repin 15 pins of other people, from other websites, in order to hide your real activity.

Same for fake accounts, they should repin yours, but also other pins, otherwise accounts get easily banned.

Imagine 100 accounts all repinning from same URL, it's obvious spam, right?

That's why you need to mix things a little bit.

Do you redirect the traffic with your site or host an LP?

What do you actually promote?

I have no reason to add LP or redirect since I'm not selling anything, its just website with articles monetized with AdSense

A paid product, the only thing I've ever had any luck with on Pinterest.

I don`t get it how repinning can bring traffic without following? What you think how minimum accs request for traffic 100 visitors per day to adsense website? 10, 100 or 1000 accs?
