YouTube has a feature "As seen on" where it puts the link to the webpage where the video got good amount of views below the video. I've seen videos with as little as 300 views getting the "As seen on" with webpage link there but ain't sure about the exact criteria.

Here's my idea to get some traffic using it:
    1. [Automatically] embed some newly put up trending videos on your webpage
    2. Get views to those embedded videos on your webpage (using proxies or something with Macro maybe)

Tada! Your website will be featured below the video under "As seen on" and you'll drive traffic from that video even though it is not yours!

    What say?

I haven't personally tried it yet since I've have no use of traffic presently. Have recently applied for a CPA and waiting for acceptance before getting into this.

Idea is basically good in theory, now let's see if YouTube has thought of this to prevent it for missusing.

I also thought about this, when I saw some strange "as seen on"-websites under popular videos.
I think that your website should be popular too.

Ya, probably popularity of website might be a factor.

Like the website reputation... No conclusions can be drawn without practically implementing it!
