Well, typing "pay for one month and get 11 months plus a domain from dreamhost for free" was too long to type :p

This is a good deal for cheap hosting, but I would not recommend dreamhost to anyone. I have had it nearly a year. It is the worst host I have out of five. Just my two cents.

I have five different hosting providers. One of the best and easiest to use is Hostgator.

I've submitted my credit card info and got a pending account, asked them if my account is now free for a complete a year, no answer for 16 hours. I am confused, in account management section written $9 a month. I'm confused. Anyone light up?

you are paying nearly $10 a month doubling if not tripling the price of others. of course it has to be good. nothing good about them, you are getting what you paid for, not more.

I wish they accepted Paypal and I would switch to them. :(
    That's a great price, especially for the simple/little traffic sites I own. HostGator's $10 is painful for a kid-who-is-not-that-successful IM'er like me.

@pyramid: you should get an answer pretty quick. i got this trial plan during xmas season and was confused too and wrote an email to the support and asked them about it. i got an reply within 24h (i think) and everything should be fine, you won't be charged anything else than those 9 dollar something :)

That's for the first year, and they hope you'll stay with them paying about $100/year. IMO it's so much for what you get. I used to be their customer for a year and it was so terrible (luckily I had 50% discount). Don't wanna flame now how much hostgator is better... :)
