Downloading videos and posting them as your own

    would this be a big deal? for example taking a youtube makeup applying video, download it, and then up load it on your blog.

    just doing the same thing as embedding without embeddeding

    sorry if dmb question im very new

    well you can download videos from youtube and upload them to your blog but if the owners see their videos on your blog without their permission or approval, you might be in trouble.

    they can ask you to take it down, attribute them or sue you...

    why not just embed the video through YouTube?

    their videos get noticed and you get free content... everybody wins!

    Sue you into oblivion... Chances are you're not incorporated so they could take your house, car, bank balance, etc. if they got a decent lawyer.

    Just embed the video's you want to use.

    In most cases it will just get flagged and removed, and if you keep doing it your account will be banned. I highly doubt anybody would sue. If you plan on putting adsense on the videos, it's not going to work.
