Downloading PD Movies

Anyone have any experience downloading public domain movies like at this site:
http://www.publicdomainflicks.com/ I was just wondering which format is best to burn them onto a DVD for playing on a tv for the best viewing. Anyone?

I randomly picked a film on this website, here are the download options :

64Kb MPEG4:
Download (81 MB)

256Kb MPEG4:
Download (183 MB)

MPEG1:
Download (329 MB)

MPEG2:
Download (4.2 GB)

As MPEG2 is the biggest file, I assume it is the less compressed, so the highest quality, so the best one to burn on a DVD for best viewing...

That site is just getting the movies from here
http://www.archive.org/details/moviesandfilms
The publicdomainflicks doesn't work that well any ways so you're better off
