If you were down to your last $500 (besides living costs of course), and had to spend on something low risk, with a quick ROI, what would it be?

Keep in mind that I have my hands tied behind my back because I don't have Paypal, so anything involving that is out.

I'm not loosing my cool here, but I definitely would appreciate some suggestions.

    Thanks in Advance Folks!

Low risk AND quick ROI?! no such thing. The best you could do is trust a fellow in the JV section with your cash and hope they don't fly off.
Do you have any skills? made any money online?

Buy 55 domain names (if you have experience in picking out resaleable domain names), search on google for possible end users, and email them for each domain and ask in the $250-$500 range per domain. You sell 1 domain and can break even.

If you know nothing about domain names then skip this.

Erm.. Probably I would spend on email marketing.. By creating great landing page, putting several affiliate products ( upsells etc.. ) and then buy solo ads.. This is a great and fast way to make some money and build a list..

Writing. I write quite well actually, but I'm tired of working at piss-poor rates. Back when I had a Fiverr gig, I was Level 2 and scheduled to become Featured. I made most of the money I'm telling you about there. I also worked freelance Social Media on oDesk and whatnot.

Ah, I almost forgot, I started a local SEO and SMM business here, but people didn't really get what I do. Return was also much lower than the international market, so I decided it was time to work smarter rather than harder.

I doubt "JV-and-pray-to-the-heavens-that-ye'-don't-get-screwed-over" counts as "Low Risk" but thanks for the advice... :D

Try to convert email submits on Facebook ppc. or hire people to post things on craigslist for you on a very low scale, and profit from manual email responses you send promoting affiliate programs

Tried to get into Flipping. I've got accounts on Pool, Namejet, and Snapnames, but I failed miserably at picking things out and reselling them. I just didn't have an eye for it. Not that I didn't try to change that. I spent hours combing eBay and Flippa, trying to find something in common between all of those domain names that sold for $1000s of dollars, but to no avail.

Eventually, I decided it just wasn't for me and moved on.

Start off with buying some pinterest software and bank slowly. Almost everyone are doing good with it.

Do some Keyword research, buy a nice .com(they are out there). Get some hosting, take action and make it work! If all else fails, after a few months of hard work sell the domain.

I'd suggest you get a job that covers your basic living expenses, then take that $500 and invest it into a business you can build in your spare time.

    If not : good luck.

Living expenses are covered, that's just it though, what business ventures are there in which don't risk blowing the rest of the money haphazardly?

    - Buy a few adword vouchers from fiverr
    - Make a site providing whitehat seo services
    - Then promote using adword advertising (choose keywords carefully)
    - Once you gain sales, Outsource to fiverr or other sites.

ok here is a simple method.....

do a keyword research for your city..or state... notice those things which people are searching from other cities .....

for example... "your city name" hotels ...
now make a website and use some SEO service to rank for that keyword...than offer some hotels to have there listing on your website...where the client can book directly...

    another method is...

find a retail shop...tell him that u will sale his products on internet .. like a dropshipper ....

make a shop on amazon , etsy, ebay.... and sell those products...you can scale it up later..

buy a stock of anything... and sell ...

Without a PayPal account its gonna be hard to see profit anytime soon. I'd save the $500 and post mad vids on youtube. No need to spend unless your guaranteed conversions

"build websites", "invest in business", some of these suggestions are trash.

Hey man, I'm in your EXACT SAME shoes. And the reason that is is because I never stuck to something for a long term, I always let my impatience takeover and I moved on to other shit. Made a dabble here and there but never really stuck around for the good money.

Anyways, what I'm going to do is build free wordpress sites for businesses and sign them up for hosting for a fat commission.

I chose Dreamhost as they have a nice payout plan. Hostgator seems good too through CJ with $100 payout, but it takes 3 months to clear and I've heard many stories of Hostgator pulling reversals on their affiliates.

I'm sure if I make 20 calls, I should get one guy wanting a free website. I found some easy wordpress themes to work with on google, and I can get one done pretty quickly. I have NO coding knowledge whatsoever so it's going to be a bit tricky. Anyways there are lots of hosting affiliate programs out there.

If I still had $500 to invest, I believe the most lucrative investment would be micro niche sites. With $500, you can buy 30 maybe 40 micro niche adsense sites. If you find the winners and grow them, incorporating CPA and affiliate products, etc... for the next few months or so, I believe the end result would be you making a shitload of money on pretty much auto-pilot.

I'd really like to ask however, how are you making money with pinterest software? This "banking slowly" sounds interesting. If you could give me a general idea or shoot me a PM I'd greatly appreciate it.
