Just curious I've read a lot of articles about accepting the bodies of women of all shapes and sizes a while now then I'm reading in Mens' health shaming people who are fat or average to get some muscles. (especially in the comments section)

I get most will be attracted to muscly/ hour glass figure but now they are criticizing people who likes out of norm people (FaT, ugly, short, disabled.....) and that women should only be attracted to "healthy people" because I'm destroying the gene pool of humanity if I don't have any muscles o_O WHAT... (I'm 162llbs or 73kg) no muscles just do cardio and stretches .

PS: I'm reading this articles for my health niche

My apologies, you could delete the thread if you want. Just curious is being overweight a big deal? For me their is big difference in "being" healthy and "looking" healthy. If your bloodworks is fine, no abnormalities in your physical check up then your OKAY... being attractive is not the issue.

I thought my service in the website is being "healthy" not to look like a movie star to attract the opposite sex. For example some people like "fat/average" people, but when I look at articles, comments and forums saying that people who are ugly, short, skinny, fat or disabled should be harassed. "

My website is like reviewing latest medications, proper applications, Pros and Cons but all I see from the responses "Am I going to get thinner/ make my skin glossier/ Make my boobs bigger/ Dick harder".

Example: I'm discussing the use of Atorvastin a Lipid inhibitor (AKA--cholesterol lowering meds) and they keep asking if they are going to get thinner... First off you can't use the meds if the doctor sayz you can't secondly, you can have high cholesterol even of your body has the normal BMI. Atorvastatin has also a side effect that can damage your kidneys so you can balance it out with correct fluid intake/ kidney check up and such.

I thought the new trend was to support the "Dad Bod". Most of the yahoo articles I've seen lately regarding men's weight has been about that.

What exactly is the dad bod? Obviously, I've asked google but without trawling through hundreds of gossip sites, can't find a decent definition other than "not Brad Pitt".

Mm, that's hot. I particularly like the massive jpg - the huge seth rogen belly actually made me lean back from the screen. The whole men/women advertising and articles reminded me of this:

Don't care what yahoo or mens health says. The obesity epidemic is out of control in the US. And unlike many people, I don't blame sugar or fast food.

I blame technology. I blame specific laws. I blame the widespread sissification of a society shifting towards a culture that I can't really talk about. But more and more kids will continue getting fat. More and more parents will cease to punish their kids by making them do pushups. When I was young I always got the belt or pushups. Now its go to your room you obese little fucking beautiful flower. Keep playing those video games. Keep sneaking those snickers out of your backpack. We'll punish you in a million and one ways but we'll never disconnect your internet. Cause internet = thorazine and parents need to sedate their already sedentary children.

Anyway, let me just post this gif. After pink we all fade to black...

The only good thing about a sissified society is that it allows for more ruthless persons to gain power faster and easier. Their is now a culture where undercutting a business or wanting to put another business out of business is taboo. And that you have to be nice to people, and not basically make them an offer they can't refuse. A true hardcore businessman like John Rockerfeller would just wipe the floor in every sector.

I agree. But what did you meant with that Rockerfeller would just wipe the floor in every sector? He would shave off the competition by building businesses out of businesses, which he is not allowed now? Or how you mean?

The majority of people these days think that you have to be nice to do business. And try to put so much emotion into it instead of just getting what you want no matter the outcomes on others.

There are several cultures where making money with money is considered taboo. So many people think that lobbying is wrong that the few people that do spend some money to change laws to increase profits are able to be so effective with it.

I think that technology isn't bad its just that the way we are taught to use it is somewhat bad. Just a year of standing up while working on a computer vs sitting down will result in a huge difference in the amount of calories burned. And then just replacing a few things such as switching out soda for water will also be a huge difference.

Its sad that obesity has gone up so much that there is new industries around making excuses for being obese and lazy. Where I live there is a clinic where you can get your DNA tested to see how you can lose weight.
