Double Meta Refresh vs Cloakit

Guys,

I'm a newbie and a double meta refresh requires me to have a few sites, etc.

How effective is http://cloakedlink.com/ (they have a double meta refresh option) compared to a self-produced double meta refresh?

What are you talking about? Your question implies you don't know how a double meta refresh works. The question is whether or not you want to host your own DMR's or not.

Yup your question just seem to me like you don't know what you are doing and hence the answer I have given. I was just trying to help you get the basics right.

Anyway it is always better to host the DMR yourself because you don't need to worry that your links will go out of wack when their service goes down.

Cloaking and double refresh is 2 different thing... the disadvantage of using their service is once their website is down, there goes your links.

yes, i agree with the above, if using a third party site, you will have to accept the issues they may have with there servers, ur links etc so if they go down, so do you.

unless.... you make your own DMR pages and upload to your own domain, this requires you to have a domain an hosting only an is a much reliable method! also its not hard neither time consuming this way anyway!

ive not actually checked this but usually this is the case with cloaking sites - with cloakedlink you url wll look lik cloakedlink.com/ddf/21343 bit of an ugliy link... unlike with ur own domain you could have wwx.topoffers.com/diet.php as ur link!! if u get wat im saying ul realise its a bigger benefit havin this!
