I know, I know. I did say that I wouldn't make a new journey thread until I acquired all of the required skills. I'm doing this because @mancar487 recommended it. Instead of constantly PMing and emailing a bunch of people, this way would make things far simpler.

If you recall from my previous journey thread - this was @meathead1234's 100 a day method that I am twisting around and making my own. Of course, I must bring in @BassTrackerBoats into this because he gave helpful advice and made me think about properly advertising on Facebook pages.

    Alright, so here we go~!

I already have a niche review site that I'm converting into a "personal blog" where I am building authority in my particular niche. Yesterday, I made my first (technically second) Facebook fan page targeting my site with the proper posts.

Many of these goals were suggestions by @Matyas.

    Main Goals:
    1. Change my domain name to the person who I'm "roleplaying" as
    2. Add a blog page with at least 10 posts without a product
    3. Change the hard selling reviews into soft selling and call the category "favorites" instead of "reviews"
    4. Write blog posts targeting relevant niche authority sites and convince them to do link-for-link to build reputation
    5. Create 15-20 Web 2.0s with about 5-10 posts each and leave hyperlinks to my site (all PBN related)
    6. Write an eBook for "my" life story and use it to build an email list
    7. Use proper keywords and backlinks to rank with SEO

Here's what my Google Analytics looks like so far since I made the site on August 12th -

As you can see it still needs many improvements. Also, I uploaded it on different image sites and it looks best on ImageShack for some reason.

    Other Goals:
+Buy 100 Twitter Accounts with 100 private proxies
    +Get Massplanner
+Setting up bots to make posting quicker
    +Must buy BuzzBundle
    +Maybe even BuzzSumo
    +Test out
@jamie3000's FREE programs and utilize them for my site

    List of Completed Goals:
    1. Bought a domain + hosting from Power Up Hosting for the entire year // unlimited bandwidth, YUSS!
    2. Wrote 5 review articles for Clickbank products // only needed about 3
    3. Created a persona to target women // Estimated 80% of audience are women
    4. Made a decent Facebook page to make myself look like a professional // I'm always professional ;)
    5. Made sure that my posts are in the green with Yoast SEO // This one was pretty easy
    6. Showed my site to my affiliate managers and they liked my reviews // Got 1 review copy so far

How long will this journey take me? I estimate a time of 6 months if I stay positive, focused, persistent, and don't act like a whiny little bitch baby. To speed things along - I will make several MNS sites when I start making some $$.

I'm feeling positive about this journey.

    Soon™
P.S Why aren't hyperlinks working? I already have the 50 posts and been a member for more than a month. It makes everything look sloppy.

Holy XXXX, I was just thinking about One Punch Man and that particular pic before you made a post.

Btw, one article is complete, just have to wait for someone who said they'll help me to get me the relevant keywords and I can publish the articles later.

I know I can do this if I work hard at it. Bullshitting is one of my top skills. Back in high school, I passed my senior project by doing it on the last week and pretending that I was teaching my friends how to play the guitar, lmao. It was pretty risky, almost failed it and could've gotten held back for a year.

You should set your bar low if you are just starting out, 50$ per day in 6 months is achievable at your stage now, 1k per day in 6 months is pretty much impossible for your current situation.

Haha lol . I loved that face & how troll it is lmao .
I'm also building my own CB site , the very first one which I really focus on quality . It's 2 months old and I'm getting 30 organic visitors daily , unfortunately after my first sale I got stuck a little . I'm making still 0/day at the moment . Despite the temporary defeat , I'm updating more contents & targeting more kws , learn to improve my conversation rate to see how things turn out .

It's nice to see a CB journey mate !

I would say that writing eBook and starting building the list should be the top priority. I'll follow this thread and best of luck buddy!

Normally, when a person puts themselves on the spot like that it forces them to work harder and smarter than they ever have. You'd be surprised what you can accomplish when there is a figurative gun pointed to your head.

I appreciate it. It might even come sooner than we both think. ;)

That's the spirit. I'm doing it a bit sneakier now. I found a bunch of niche specific bloggers and copy/pasted their posts and all I have to do is change some stuff around and switch paragraphs around, etc.

There was also a cheeky spammer who tried to get away with selling me his SSD hosting services. What I did was make it look like he found my Facebook page (with a link) and asked if it is my site. I will reply with something like "wow, yeah nice catch" to make it look like legit. Hahaha, that's how I will deal with spammers.

    Right back at you. *cheers*

Even better than luck - I have people who are helping in one way or another. :)

I'm thinking this, too. Except I would have to read up on how to make eBooks and how many pages, etc. Then I would need to find some kind of plugin to add to my site with an opt-in form attached with the eBook. I haven't the foggiest how to do this, but I will search it out. How's business going?

For eBook - 2K - 3K words is fine. Just don't use very small font so you get 5-6 pages of content + cover page, index, intro, final words with links, etc ... I use Aweber. You can easily set up a sign up form from Aweber and then paste the Javascript code into the page or sidebar. Make sure that upon opt-in confirmation, you send the visitor to a download page where you can also upsell, in case you have other products released.

You can also use BuzzSumo Email builder app which allows you to create very nice popup.

Thank you. I look forward to prove to myself that even someone from a lower class family can become successful. I only ever hear about it from people on tv. In my skeptical mind, they might as well be those gurus with their $47 eBooks: Buy it now and it's only $8.99, but for a limited time only.

I want to experience it with my own eyes that it's all true.

That's all I really need? I was thinking 10k+ words, but 2 or 3k sounds very doable for me. I'll try the Aweber route for the javascript and MailChimp for the actual list building (for now).

You mean add a "buy now" button with the link to my product after they sign up for the FREE eBook on the actual download page? I'm guessing the only thing I don't need is a landing page, right?

Just to make sure that I understood this correctly - I add a javascript code to the sidebar with something like, "sign up for my free eBook" and then they get redirected to a download page with the free eBook. On the last page of the eBook I leave a link or links to any product that I'm currently selling/promoting. Is this correct or did I misunderstand?

I'm wondering how I should approach the eBook, probably an autobiography with a pic of the person I pretend to be, posted on the cover. Even though I mirror image and slightly alter the photos that I find online, what would happen if someone were to find out that I'm not who they think I am?

Anyway, I highly appreciate your suggestions.

    P.S Isn't BuzzSumo expensive?

Your Goal is 1k per day with Clickbank. Well, Even if you are short off your target and make 500 USD per day, You are still Killing it.

You don't need Aweber if you use MailChimp. I personally have never used MailChimp so I don't know if they offer easy-to-use sign up forms builder. They probably are.

Why are you afraid of using the real you in the eBook? Is it like you are in fitness niche or something and you are not ripped at all? It's not good to use someone else's image, especially if you don't own the rights to the image. If eBook is without personal touch then it might scare some readers but anyway, this is free eBook, I don't think that people will be giving too much attention if it has your photo in it :D

On the last page, I always put link back to my website and other social media profiles like FB fan page, twitter, instagram, linkedin, if relevant, etc ...

On your download page, I would not recommend promoting affiliate offers. You can do that over email. Send email with valuable content and then at the end do this: "Hey, what not check product out? It's bla bla bla" and then put affiliate link. So you put yourown products you sell on download page. "Have you checked out omy other product?", etc ...

BuzzSumo is $30/mo I think. I can't remember, they charge my debit card, not paypal.

Exactly, I am going to kill it and make lots of monkeys. :)

    Hope that I won't disappoint. ;)

Doesn't Aweber cost money? I have only 2 dollars on me, lol. They say MailChimp lets you get 2k subscribers for free before charging you. This is a specific niche targeting mainly women and I'm using a female persona, so there is no way I would suddenly use my real photo. I wouldn't want people to know that I am doing black hat techniques. I've already used other people's photos pretty much everywhere, lol.

I don't own a lot of things, but I would still do it this way. I doubt the top people in CB use their real persona when promoting products in this niche. It just wouldn't make any sense. How would I talk about issues that are only relevant to women as a man? Who would take me seriously?

Say for example if you were selling sex products or doing porn methods, would you want anyone in your family to find you and say "why is so and so associated with this?".

Not that I'm doing the pr0n niche nor am I recommending it to anyone.

Hmm, BuzzSumo is out of the question then. I'd have to make more than a few sales.

    End of First Day:
Wow, that was quite intense. I don't think I've ever written so much work related stuff in a day, lol.
    • Wrote 3 none-product articles [Just need to edit and publish them]
    • Started working on my eBook [Had to stop because my head couldn't take any more writing. I blame the high blood pressure from eating too many carbs.]
I know, it's kind of anti-climatic and I wish I had more to write, but this is only day 1.

Tomorrow, I will be taking a break as it is Saturday and that is my no-work day. I also need to buy ingredients and produce at the flea market. I think I could still write a bit today, but I don't want to burn out. Yeah, a few thousand words might not be much to some people, but I'm not used to it.

It's ok, at least progress is being made. :)

Do you feel like listening to some ska with me?

    Yes, let's do that.

I think we could all use some ska in our life.

Dunno why this guy didn't upload the slightly higher quality version.

Thanks, but want to know my opinion? Well, I will tell it to you in any case. I honestly don't believe that 1k dollars a day is anything special. I could have reached this goal 4 or 5 years ago, back when I really started doing as I pleased. All of the things in my life had to happen first for me to be here in this very moment. I don't believe in random chance, coincidences or dumb luck, but I do believe something else. I believe that I am going to get to the top no matter what.

My blood boils with the desire to succeed and I'm willing to give up many comforts and securities to get there. If there ever comes a time where I must work 50 hours without a break then that is what I will do to achieve my dreams. You have no idea how badly I want this. Many people talk shit and even I do it sometimes, too. This however, is a totally different beast. Whatever the world expects of me - I will make it my bitch and not the other way around.

    Come at me, life.

With that said, let's get on with the show -

    End of 2nd/3rd Day:
    • eBook is about 50% done (needs lots of work)
    • Signed up for MailChimp
    • Made a new email address for MailChimp account
I was cracking up so much while writing my eBook that I had to take breaks and watch YouTube vids. I must have been channeling pewep's spirit animal, because of all the nonsense that I wrote. I'm half surprised that my nose didn't grow to a full 10 inches yet from all of the bullshit I was spewing. Ah, the wonders of marketing. Gonna need some serious editing after I'm finished with it. Lucky for me - I have all the time in the world.

    Goals for the Week:
    • Finish eBook
    • Add a plugin for a proper opt-in form
    • Create a campaign with MailChimp
    • Learn the ins and outs of email marketing

I wager that all of this will take a week to implement with the exception of learning email marketing, because that would require much more reading than that. This week will be dedicated to the eBook and to the rest of the stuff. I'm certain that there is much to be done. Exciting, isn't it? :)

    Questions for you Lads/Lasses:
    1. What is the best format for an eBook; PDF or EPUB?
    2. Would it be ok to use someone else's photo on my eBook cover?
    3. Should I just leave the photos [[on my site]] of the person I'm pretending to be?

It's amazing how.. as soon as I stopped wasting time and just DID IT - I got to this point in no time at all. Imagine how far I can get if I continue to take action every day. That is it for today. See you all tomorrow!
