Dot tk cancelled my domain - has it ever happened to you?

The Dot TK Abuse and Copyright Infringement department

I forwarded it to my affiliate link to test the traffic, and I got a few hundred from CL. Does this mean someone filed a complaint to the abuse dept, or did they just steal my .tk? I can't imagine them going through all the domains to check for "copyright" violations.

is your domain something like facebook.tk ?

Say the site is 30DaysToFreedom.com, and I redirect via Achieve30DaysFreedom.tk. Is that still infringing on copyrights?? I think it's a generic phrase.

Agreed. TK is useless. Even a .info or, -gasp- .biz is better.

yeah i had a cancelled domain once but that was because i was promoting URENT the porn dvd rental like netflix. So I used NetflixPorn.tk to promoted, it was doing fine until 4 weeks later i checked my stats and i was getting no traffic then checked domain and netflixporn.tk was removed. Also I dont totally agree with .tk being shitty, just because it didn't work with you doesn't mean you are the smartest fucker, and you have no idea in how to use them correctly.

I use .tk domains for when i submit my sites to social bookmarking or just submission sites. Instead of spending more money in info domains and redirecting it to my main site i just register like 5 .tk domains and just redirect it to my main site then submit those 5.tk domains to the social bookmarking sites. I get more traffic for my buck.

They cancelled at least three of my domains, some were being forwarded to my own blogs that had unique content, but when I wrote to ask why they cancelled my domains I never got a reply. They did tell me in their canned notice that the domain is free for me to reregister if I want, but one domain that they cancelled must have been a real prize to them because they're selling it now as a premium domain after seizing it from me. I won't register with .tk ever again.

they must auto cancel on report, try to report someone else and see how it goes..

Damn after reading this thread I wish I didn't just go and setup 5 sites with .tk domains

they canceled several domains when i get to much traffic and then they take over it

You must be being reported. There is no way they would be checking all the domains one by one.

.tk domains like co.cc you never know when it will be offline

So go to your acc and reregister it I became this letter for 50+ times cause of doing some black hat things :8

They often cancel domains with traffic just to place their ads there.

Even if you can rank a .tk site in the first page of G they will take the domain from you and profit from your rank, so better buy an info for cheap.

yes, most of my tk domains have been cancelled .

I had a sport streaming website using free .tk once it start ranking and getting traffic they canceled it and placed there ads on it !! so i don't recommend doing this with a serious long term website !!

happens all the time, like the old adage that says " spend money to make money" I had a lot of .tk's before and i regret not spending a little on domains

It happens always for me.
Just buy a simple .info domain (there is also a trick to buy them at 0,46$) and you'll be fine.

I use .tks alot but only for throwaway sites. where I know the ride wont last long

If you don't have any money to get additional domains .tk is AWESOME.

It made me over $2000 in a few weeks. If .tk wasn't there I would have had a very hard time to get that much cash.
