This is why I've never had a Facebook or been interested in doing any type of marketing on it either.

They will send cease and desists to people selling likes, threatening to sue them, yet they then start to sell likes themselves with the exact same quality and charge far more. If you're going to go for something more authentic, at least do it right and give the people paying far more to gain likes through FB what they really want and deserve.

the likes that are sold here on BHW, do you think these are legit likes? They claim to be. If I buy likes from someone here who claims the likes are from real normal people in lets say the US can I expect engagemnt from those likes? Will they see the posts my fan page makes?

That is the exact reason why one of our Facebook accounts with only 1870 Likes brings us the most targeted and the highest profits over and over again. The Likes were generated purely by manually engaging with REAL and TARGETED FB account owners who were initially INTERESTED in our offer. It took several months to get there but the income from this ONE account (we have more than a 100) is astonishing.

Facebook Ads are only good for the initial fans. Later you have to provide something useful so the real fans would share your stuff to other real people.

I can fully testify for this. I spent over $30 messing around with facebook ads. I even created ads on the news feed to directly promote my website. I got around 15 likes on the post in no time, and 0 cliques on the actual post that redirects to my website. And I was charged a lot from each like. All these 15 people appeared to be fake profiles with no interest whatsoever in my website. Also when you you change from payment for likes to paying for CPM, the difference is just enormous. When paying for likes, I had a CTR of 4$, when paying for CPM immediately after with the same ad, the CTR went down to 0.2%. Makes no sense at all. I will never use facebook ads again!

Click farms are getting smarter. They will like many 1000's of pages that creates money for Facebook and Facebook will not remove the accounts as the people who have paid Facebook will lose likes they paid them.

Like anything, if you apply yourself there
are ways to get around fake likes. It is hard
but you can convert on Facebook traffic if
you have the right set-up, funnel and offer.

Defintely a platform which is very profitable
if you know how to avoid the fake likes stuff.
