I know i have said this before, but i will say it again.

This company is a FUCKING JOKE. For those of you using them you probably didn't know they were going to take ALL of your shit offline today and not tell anyone.

Then i find out that they changed my ip, and their temp forwarding service isn't working. On top of that, those people responsible for this work, are not even reachable.

Thanks for the heads up, Chilly! I've been using SLHost for quite a while, and always wonder if I'm getting value for money.

I love their support (usually pretty quick reply e-mail), but this whole move-your-IP thing was a pain in the arse, and took ages. And yes, my forwarding wasn't working either!
 
yeah...i still have to migrate the IP addresses.

But dont all hosts do this from time to time?

are there any changes that we need to do? from my understanding, if your using slhosts shared DNS servers your good to go.

Yeah but i would hope most companies would let you know ahead of time. Instead i loose $300 in PPC advertising. Plus around another $1000 in today's revenue.
 
which vps package do you have?

i have the basic, and i cant log in to my whm. their saying my server doesnt have enough memory. too many failcounts for memory. whatever that means.

it means they moved your vps, didnt tell you and now its all messed up. Welcome to my world!
 
So they finally get back to me. They do a server migration on a saturday, but their data center doesn't do support on the weekend. Here was their response.

We deeply apologize for the inconvenience this has caused you. All precautions were taken before migrating the server to prevent any downtime. The Migration Team is normally offline during the weekends, but considering this urgency we have contacted them and they will be back in the Datacenter soon and they will be updating you after fixing the issue. Since IP forwarding is completely handled at the Datacenter we are unable to help you with this issue.

Sad to know this Chill....I am having a server from there..Dont know it will hit me sometime also..

Say it in webhostingtalk....That will hit them where it hurts most..They will have to come screaming defending them there.
 
I use SliceHost (different from slhost) and it's awesome!
