So, my main host seems to be down, and it has taken down 8 of my domains.

Even worse, both DNS servers seem to be down, so emails have not been coming through (emails are through google on my sites).

So, I have had to scramble to change back DNS to the registrar, and then point these MX records to google. Fuck the sites.

Its taken the better part of two hours, but at least emails are working.

Reseller account's providers sites all seem to be down. Can't even ping the bloomin IP addresses. It's like their entire data centre has been wiped off the planet. I don't want to start mentioning names, but it is a UK host.

I can understand the servers going down, but *both* DNS servers?!?!? By their very nature, they should be on different planets so if one goes off the grid, the other one keeps humming.

This is the last time I ever change the primary DNS on my domains to whatever the reseller is providing. And, it is back to VPS for me. No more dealing with managed reseller accounts and their stupid web control panels. Grrrrr

Sorry, but just had to vent a bit.
