    1. If you announce your goals to others, you become less likely to achieve them because you lose motivation, studies show ? As early as 1933, tests have shown that once intended goals are announced aloud, people are less likely to follow through with them as they lose motivation. This is thought to happen because announcing one?s goals satisfies a person?s self-identity just enough to prevent them from performing the hard work to achieve those goals.

    2. ...

    3. You?ll be happier spending your money on experiences, rather than material possessions ? Happiness is becoming increasingly popular in the scientific field of study on emotional well-being. Research in this area suggests that people often sacrifice things that make them happy, such as going on vacation or attending events, in order to afford possessions (like property).

Share your goals with your mind liked friends, but only after you start it and reach some 30% of that goal.

There are 2 rules for business:

    1. Don't share all your information with everyone

    2.

As long as you don't personally identify with your goals then it's fine. IMO only weak people care about what others think about them so much that they'd lose motivation after announcing their goals. If anything, if there's other people involved who would benefit from me achieving my goals, I would announce them on purpose because then it gives me motivation to not disappoint the people involved.

Also, I don't see how announcing your goals has anything to do with sharing business information. Elon Musk wants to get to Mars and it's no secret. Don't see him backing off.

I don't think it's good to keep your goals a secret.

Because then you have noone holding you accountable for them.

When I announce about my mission, goals, target.
Example, 2016 target to the public through (facebook status, friends), I feel less desperate, less pain, and less motivation.

Compare it I dint do that. I feel super desperation... super pain... and bunch and motivation... I need to archive that.. I really need to archive that... I'm super desperate to complete that..

CONCLUSION: just keep your mission/goals to yourself.

Just announce the result. Not your plan.

If people didn't announce their goals, the journey section of this forum would be empty :D

Good people always share their ideas and experience to others. The don't lose any things but others also gain some profit. Both of them best in their field. However, those people who don,t share their ideas, actually they are non sense. They don't have ability to see other success.

A goal should be for your self to achieve, for your own personal development. If you tell everyone around you and try blag, it just shows your not doing it for yourself, but rather to impress other people.

(Take people go to the gym and take pictures and upload them to facebook all the time) as a good example.

If you tell your goals to people who care about you (friends, family) it's more likely that you achieve them..

.. because you don't want to be considered in their eyes as a pussy who only tell stories and never do anything about it!

    It's true, it's a fact (studies shows that from 1932 :p )

You will be surprised how many family and friends will attempt to sabotage your goals given the chance.
They can do this subconsciously and not realize they are doing it.
Some people don't like change and they don't like to see other people advance.

that's also true.. but if your girlfriend, wife or best friend doing that.. you should immediately change your girlfriend, wife or closest friends.. you should run from them like you will be running from burning building, you must have in your circle people who help you grow your wings.. It's your choice who is on your side!

cut out people in your life who pull you down, you must do it if you wanna fly high :)

Actually this is applicable on some people (I'm the one). I noticed that whenever I told my mom/or my partner what I'm going to do, what I aim for, it won't turn out good. But I did well on things that I didn't share with anyone.

Everyone is different. If you think sharing your goals can help you better, do it. Just stick on something that works for you.

Thats really good dose I must say but dont know in life,we want to share the things what we are thinking, and thats the mistakes we made in emotion. It is very right that we donot need to tell anything related to our goals or dreams,as per my self experience,it is 100% true.
I will keep this in mind.
The second thing what I read is about happiness- Yes I will be very happiest if I start traveling thats the thing what I do want anyhow, but if I invest my money on that then how will I become richer?Generally people either who is very rich or alone(no family) generally invest money on traveling.
Thats some confusing thing every time roaming in my mind.
    See,

Everybody in this BHW has one Goal which is earn a lot and one Dream, but many like me want to be practical always, these things are their to-do list, but they will go with that list once they fulfill their basics first by earning well.

    :)
