You know, I've got a VHS tape of that performance from when it first aired on MTV. It's just about worn out after all these years. Great find HaRRo. The version of Pennyroyal Tea he performed (solo) was also really powerful; if you followed Nirvana at the time, and knew anything about Mr. Cobain when he performed that song it was almost like he was fighting all his personal demons; and winning.

I love this song, my dad has always been a fan of nirvana. My parents split a couple years ago and I don't get to see him much since (I'm living abroad atm). I have all of nirvana's songs on my ipod, courtesy of my dad's. Whenever I feel nostalgic I play this particular song. Thanks Harro.

Thanks for sidetracking me when I'm supposed to be writing a couple blog posts and making some comments tonight. I've found a torrent of the vid, so I'll check it out. Have you got the With the Lights Out box set? They Hung Him On A Cross, Grey Goose, and Ain't It A Shame are pretty cool too.

*edit* I meant to say also that the soundtrack to the movie looks like it just got posted to usenet
