Donation to whoever figures this local SEO ranking issue out for TAXI

I have tried all SEO-tactics so far, but there is one no cure no pay client I can't seem to find to rank.

It is a taxi business, and should rank simply for one keyword: "Taxi Gent".

Taxi being the service, Gent being a locality.

The website is: taxi 222 gent . be (no spaces, CBA backlinking it from here)

We have done on-page SEO maximization basics such as metatags, headings, etc., use all of the top SERP LSI-keywords, optimized even small things like alt-tags, file names etc.

Technical SEO has been done too, website has no issues in GSC and went from 30 to 90 pagespeed.

For off-page, I have built them the best links from the competitors, and extra links, which include local links from the government city, star 1 michelin restaurant, etc.

On top of this I built them a small amount of PBNs as last attempt. Anchors are good in variety too, with exact match no higher than 15%, and tons of variety.

Schema LocalBusiness has been setup, and even "Taxi Gent" is mentioned as alternatename, and service offered.



All the while, the ranking went from Nr.6 to Nr.5.

Top SERP is exact match, but we have keyword in domain name too.

Nr. 2, v-tax.be, is an absolute dogwater site.




Anyone that can figure out how to further improve this, or what might be a big issue/culprit, feel free to write it down here.

If it works out, you get a fat donation from me as this is a no cure no pay project.

I've struggled with the same problem for years.

Sometimes some sites just rank because they've been around for ages. You need a time machine so basically you just accept that you can't do anything about it.

Another factor is because people keep clicking him, google keeps him on top.

In my town also similar problems but more movement in the top 5 due to more competition. Even then, there are sites that rank well despite having inferior backlinks profile, speed, etc. because they've been around for 10-15+ years while I've only been around for 3.

Age is unfortunately a big factor that you cannot control without a time machine. I have the best backlink profile by far but being only 3 years old Google will not let me in the top 3 spots SERPs against every other site that is 10-15 years old. At least for local SEO.
