Hello, is this tool still active and updated? Will it work for all websites? Please PM me and send me coupon if available.
Yeah of course it is still supportedHello is the tool still supporting and working? Also, the price is the one-time price for unlimited domains right?
Please send discount code, thanks
The site will be recovered as it shows in the wayback machine, it should include all pages and structure as it is in the wayback machine. It will not recover a database for a backend of a dynamic website such as WP blog or forum etc but all of the pages and their content will be visible for visitors of the website.Hello,
I'm in general meh with technical stuff. I was wondering if using the tool recreated the folders (for instance, /forum/) after it gathered the pages, or if it has to be done manually after the fetching process is completed ?
Could you please send me the coupon?
One production question-- will this software recover all published pages on a site? For example if I give it the homepage of a website from one snapshot and /article is not available, will it automatically look in older snapshots for the article?
It's frustrating to restore a snapshot and then realize that available links in older versions of the site are missing.
Any review copy available?
This isn't what I asked.Restoring to a working WP site as it was when live originally would take the Wayback Machine having access to the underlying database and code which no website will have allowed so it is not possible to recover directly to a WP site. Every recovered site is as an html website so it can be simply uploaded after recovery and should appear as though it is a genuine working wordpress site just there won't be a working admin panel for it.
It will do it for content that is existent on the Wayback Archive, it is not 100% but in my experience it is very accurate. It depends on the link structure being the same on both snapshots and a couple of other factors but it will grab that content where possible. This isn't what I asked.

My question is if the tool can look back to older dates to find missing content for broken URLs. I didn't ask about databases or code.
You can recover any website regardless of whether it is a html, wordpress or other CMS based site. The recovery will be the html representation of that website though. It is not really possible to automate the conversion of an html website to a working CMS as the Wayback Machine will not have had access to the backend or database when the site was archived to the Wayback Machine. Can i clone a site wordpress or store with this software?? and get all file in zip format that can install it in my site wordpress ??

This is not for creating Wordpress websites but you can edit any html website in any text editor, notepad++ is free, quick and formats and highlights code to make it easy to edit content and/or add links to the content. So this tool will just scrape the HTML and provide you the code .. maybe good for people that want a custom coded website but otherwise not really editable if you want to recreate something in wordpress for example?
What would be the benefit to doing this? It is so quick to edit an html file and upload or even edit in place with lots of hosts that adding the complexity, hackability and speed degradation of wordpress sounds like a bad idea. How would that work with the css and JS etc that is required to make a site look proper, I'm not sure it would be as simple as just uploading the pages to wordpress.Or can't you just save the body of all html pages and bulk upload to WordPress?
Shouldn't take too long.
However, I'm a Mac user. No luck then this time
