Domain With Links Forwarding? When To Do It?

OK guys, I bought a niche relevant domain for my money site. It has a TON, 4000ish, links coming from a niche relevant forum. The owner of the domain had it in his profile. Naked URL anchor text.

My question is how and when do I forward the domain to my money site? The money site is new as of March. Bought the money site domain in June last year. There's a small amount of links going to it. I've added a lot of content and I've been building up Social Media following...

Can I just forward the domain now and be good or do I need to wait until my link pool is bigger and it doesn't look like as much of a red flag when 4000 awesome links just appear out of nowhere when there was less than 60 before?

If I have to wait ... how long? What should my link profile look like? Also I stupidly registered the domains under the same registrar account. Am I dead in the water?

OP said that his site was vanished from SE after six months for using Aged domains

I think he didn't use niche relevant domain, so you should give it a try
In order to pass link juice, you need to use 301 Redirect
