It's your choice. Do you want other people to see you name email or other personal information. If yes go for non privat r. because it's cheaper. If yes go for name.com because it has private whois for free

If you are doing something legal and useful like unique article writing then it doesnt matter if your address is seen publicly but if you making some illegal or violent site then get ready to get calls and battle with the violent ppl.. :)

If you have 30, 300 or 3000 blogs that are all independant and don't link to each other ,and they are all white hat, then having the same whois for all domains is probably not a problem from an SEO point of view, although otherwise you might not want the world to know what you own.

However, if you're making a blog farm and your domains link together, and/or you're doing things that might get a domain banned by google or yahoo then it makes sense to have private registration, otherwise you're making it easy for them to see they are a group and could ban them as a group.

Nobody really knows (outside Google and Yahoo) if they currently look at whois to find suspicious domains to check, but they could, so it's wise to take precautions.

Ok seems like you are thinking about domain names right ? You can buy any domain name.Make sure it is short.. relevant to your niche (not necessarily)

host your domains name on different server.. don't put all your egg in the single basket!
