Ok so I'm currently trying to seo my new site and was thinking of making a landing page with good keywords. So say I want the keyword baseball. What would get the best results baseballbaseballbaseball.com, baseballx3.com, baseball-x3.com, or. Baseball-baseball.com

Basically I'm wondering if repeating is better or worse and also if hyphens vs no hyphens is better than another

according to stephen colbert, it's great for traffic. or maybe he just meant having boobs in the domain. (like in his "website" donald crosby boobs boobs boobs dot com)

Why stop at 3, why not 20 times? I think its just a small part of your ranking.

Well let's say I want my site to be on the first page for baseball. What's the best way to do it?

I thought that the domain name was only a small fraction of getting your website ranked up on google :willy:

you looking at something as competative as baseball? if it is then I'd go for a second keyword and aim for the tail..

First of all why waste everyones time with a a question like that? Why not spend your time researching seo and niches. If you are still wondering how keywords affect rankings, then you need to spend your time and energy on the basics of how the internet work first before you do anything else....

Something about putting baseball 3 times in a domain name just screams spam...unless thats the whole point.
