I prefer shorter domain names as they’re easier to relay to people regardless of the medium being used. It also has to be aesthetically pleasing though.
like in the examples you provided I prefer the second one as it just seems to read well compared to the other two.

John Obama is PROBABLY better. It also depends what you use your domain for and how people find you.
You usually want to keep it under 15 characters total (it's not a hard rule, but good idea).

I prefer shorter as well, but I want to register my name, and its long. And I use my whole name, it's this long heh XXX XXXXX XXXXXXXX, so yeah that would be a long domain
But I feel it doesn't feel natural with my name when I have johnobama

It would work, but I think every time it's so weird to use one inital for the middle name, it's so unfamiliar to me ahah

Haha, yeah it's whether you use it often or not.
I know for my company, when we have people with same names, (happens quite often)
Instead of giving them [email protected] [email protected]
we tend to put [email protected] etc

Glad you got a variation you liked
John Doe" (for males) and "Jane Doe" (for females) are multiple-use names that are used when the true name of a person is unknown or is being intentionally concealed.

Shorter name is easy to remember. If all variants are available, better get all of it and redirect to one
