    Hello to all people

I'm needing some advice. I recently bought a domain (. Net) of a big company. How could I negotiate this domain with a big company. How could I sell? And if I do notsell? Could there be another negotiation?

lol.. no one can take it from you. You can rightfully own it but you wont be able to host it and have it active if its trademarked. If I were you I would try and contact them and try to sell it. Good luck!

if it's a big company they can easily take a domain from you. There are plenty examples of court rulings against cybersquatters.

Agree - careful who you are dealing with. Look at nissan.com - nissan is in the process of suing the guy for 10 million dollars worth of damages. The only reason he still has it, is because he has a ton of backing behind it: had a company with the name, its his last name, registered it like 20 years ago, he cant use anything affiliated with nissan cars on his website etc.

I would certainly get advice before doing that, solid legal advice before even thinking about it

    Imagine this

    Hey Mr Big Company

I brought a domain just like yours, it's a .net and I'm going to charge you xxxxx for it how does that sound? Tell you what I'll give you some blog comments to sweeten the deal?? Shake my hand go on!

    Good luck dude

Take your own advice. They need to prove that you squatted/purchased it with intent to profit.

Google UDRP. All this company has to do is show they have a TM to the name and show you are exploiting it in one way or another....ie. parking it.....developing it into something similar and placing ads on it. Trust me they will do their homework on you and UDRP almost always sides with the TM owner. If I was you I would either park it to a keyword that has nothing to do with the company or throw up a site that has nothing to do w the company. Otherwise they can take it from you just depends on how aggressive they want to be. BTW if you email them telling them you want to sell them their own name in the domain they can use that as proof in a UDRP case that you are trying to profit from their TM.

    Thank you for everything
But I'll try to explain. This company is a Brazilian who works in the sector of petroleum and gas. Your domain name is primary "com.br". But it is a company that operates in several countries.

    But how could I charge?

They would contact you if they wanted it or cared. People do your homework befroe answering questions. The nissan guy has an amazing claim to nissan.com. fuck nissan. As long as you can prove why you got it and you used it before. Look at the mcdonalds guy who sued mcdonalds inc for copying his name. Big company doesn't mean they win.
