Domain Authority vs Page Authority

Been scraping expired web 2.0s and am wondering if page authority for the root is technically the same as domain authority.

I sort my spreadsheet with DA from largest to smallest and have PA right next to it. Some domains have a really high PA like 60-70, but a way lower DA. Since the moz reports are looking at the root of the domain and returning a high PA... i figure that would be as good as a high DA. Ok no more typing DA and PA for me.. too many times in a paragraph : )

Forget about PA, it's a 100% useless metric. I only check it seldomly for spam purposes (generally when there is a huge difference between PA > DA (like 20+) for low DA sites, there is an extreme amount of spammed links (like a blast or something like that).

Anyway, DA is one of the weakest metrics nowadays.

You would be better off with UR and DR.

I only check these metrics for the sake of clients since they are obsessed with nice numbers.

Dayum i have been out of it too long.. about 2 years now. Got a 1gig connection now and scraped a few million links. Trying to figure out which metrics to pay attention to.
UR and DR are specific to ahrefs right?

Yes, DR (domain rating) and UR (url rating) are the proprietary metrics of Ahrefs

DA is what you should pay attention to, BUT I wouldn't rely on MOZ metrix only (at least it dosen't work for me). You can take a look on TF from Majestic and DR from Ahrefs (what was mentioned above). BTW, peaple say that DR gives more relieble results. Good luck!
