    Hey guys,

Recently I've bought a new domain from https://www.domcop.com . Domain was showing as 10 years old.

Now I check it here : http://smallseotools.com/domain-age-checker/ and it says it's new, registered just few days ago.

Here: http://www.webconfs.com/domain-age.php it says : Unable to determine

Domain has perfect name for my niche so I'm going to build a new website on it. Domain has no backlinks, pagerank 0

My question is. Will it be easier to rank a 10 year website in google? :) And will google consider that domain as 10 year's old ?

    Thank you guys!

Age is good. What it used to be is also important. You can find the registration age by using any whois site(I usually use who.is). I'd also recommend using the wayback machine to see how long the former site actually existed and what it was. That all being said, you may want to focus on other metrics that are more important than the domain age. Trust Flow, Citation Flow and Domain Authority are good starting points.

Yup, if the real age is 10 years then it will rank easier... If not, then you don't have nothing to lose, only to gain, since "it's perfect for your niche". Make sure you check wayback machine (as seohosting said) and also make sure it's not penalized (possible if it's 10 years old)...
