    I had no idea!!

I bought a domain last week from Go Daddy, but every time I check a SEO audit, it says my site is 3 years and 7 days old .. How does that work! :/

If it really is 3 years old, will that help in the big G?

You probably bought on expiration. If you bought brand new then you need to wait for the WHOIS information catches up.

You can check your Whois here http://who.godaddy.com/

    The Whois info is mine

Does that mean I don't get any benefit from it being 3 years old? Is the domain I own 3 years old, or 1 week old?

It's as old as it's latest consecutive registration.

Thats means you bought expired domains, are you paying extra for this? there are free service out there giving you free expired domain list that has seo features such as, MOZ, Links, age, PR and so on..

Anyhow, old domains does not mean anything if there are not quality score on it such as backlinks, but at least have some history and according to old school SEO - you do not have to go thru what they called probation period for new domain before you can start doing SEO to it, if you have a new domain - if you do off page to quickly its to obvious you are doing blackhat, not to mention your competitors can report you to G saying you doing Google Bowling or bunch of crap. Some said, if you buy old domains you will still need pass thru the probation period and some said not (just FYI) - hope it helps
