There is a pretty new website growing very fast in my country. It has 100k UVs and 200k Visitors per day. I've found out that the .co domain of this site is free. My question is approximately how much money should I expect to make by buying this domain and parking it? Is it worth it?

It depends on the niche and if they are buyers, etc.
When you say the domain is free, I think you mean it's available but you have to pay for it?
If I were you, it would be worth it to buy the free domain, put up a 10 page wp blog with unique and related content and add a few affiliate offers related to the niche or adsense.
If you get a cease and desist letter or a DMCA, then you deal with it at that time.

It's actually an entertainment site opened recently which went viral in our country...I don't intend managing that site, I just want to park it. I have no experience with parked domains, so that's why I was asking for advice.

+1 for what Oliver said regarding creating some sort of mini-site. You'd likely do better from a site like that, whether you throw affiliate offers, adsense, or some other monetization opportunity (or a mix of them for that matter - e.g. some affiliate offers, some adsense, and maybe an amazon widget or something similar).
If you are really intent on parking it, you're gonna face a hurdle if you don't already have a parking account somewhere. A fair number of the reputable parking companies look at the number of and quality of domain names new partners have.
If you don't have a parking account already let me know and I can hook you up with referrals to one or two companies, I can't promise you'll get in that way but it could help (I've done that before for people and it seems to help their approval rate).

If the original site is a short .com then you have the potential to get enough traffic to make it worthwhile. If it's not a .com then your chances of traffic go down dramatically; also if it's a long domain name then the chances of surfers making a typo elsewhere in the domain go up as well.
Typo traffic is a difficult gig and it's really difficult to predict what will get traffic and what won't.
You'd be better off putting up a multi site full page ad with relevant offers rather than parking it; if you just park it, it's unlikely that you'll get many clicks because the ads shown are unlikely to be relevant.
