I'm trying to sign up for a few services but it seems most of the reputable ones ask for my site. Since I only do parasite hosting I don't have a site.

How does one get around this?
1. Make a random legit-looking site?
2. Just put in some random site and pretend that it's yours?
3. ?

use someone elses website :D or url :P

especially one that hides there shit in whois (domains by proxy) etc..

I hope you get to see my post... I'm having trouble getting anything to show up on the forum. Is it taking moderators more than a day to approve them? Anyway, what I wanted to try and say is that sites like Commission Junction require you to have a web site in order to illustrate to them that you are able to manage using the ad code scripts needed to promote the companies they list for us. All you usually really need is a free Blogger blog, or a Google page. Put anything on it just to show it's operating. They are most likely not going to judge your webmaster skills and I'm sure they know there are other ways besides websites to promote.

Hope you get a quick approval and move forward. If there's a delay, follow up on it. Sometimes things get snagged up. The most important thing is to take action. If you don't just do it, nothing will happen at all.
