Doesn anybody knows how to null software?

I have one software program that needs to be nulled as it checks for a licence key when it starts.
I had a licence but it seems i got ripped off cause it's not working anymore and the guy isn't answering anymore.
Can someone crack such a software with such verification?
There is no option to enter a key or something like this.
