Does worth buying Facebook AD?

I would like to advertise my fan page on FB, just for startup the fanpage I have in mind to advertising on Facebook paying for AD, anyone tried?

Is it worth?
What amount of money is needed for a startup of fans?

if you suck you pay $1 a fan

if you know what you do you get 1000 fans for 50$

it depends but it can even be 3 cents for a like..
If you want to make money out of these likes, create a store tab on your page, seatch in Google for: StoreYa, it's a free store tab app.
Create your ads with good content and images, always pay less than what FB is asking, you'll still get good results, and direct your likes to your store tab - that's the only way to really make money in Facebook!

I thought the price of the add is not for " LIKE " but just to show advertising, and they doesn't care if 100 or 0 likes the page.

So doesn't work like that?

I've got $12 for 1,000-1,300 fans , totally worth trying.
