does tinyurl hide where the user originally came from?

    for example...

    facebook -> tinyurl/asdfg -> website.com

    vs

    facebook -> website.com

    in the first case.. can CPA networks tell via the content gateway that the traffic ACTUALLY came from facebook - or does tinyurl hide it?

    Tinyurl doesn't hide website referrer, it's just shorten the url.

    I am not completely sure, but I think it doesn't hide where the traffic came from.

    doesn't look like either tiny or bitly blank the ref (at least for firefox)
