Does this proposal sound legitimate?

I'm trying to ditch my day job at Taco Bell, in hopes of moving upward to a better paying job. I'm currently throwing my cards at the Technical Support department (I'll be happy with any computer job). Anyways, I just got an e-mail from one of the Craigslist ads I replied to. Here is what he said.

90% likely it is a shitty pipe dream that you will never get paid for.
9% chance you will do a tonne of work, he will steal your work, and you will never get paid for.
1% chance (Being generous), that you get paid a cent.
0.000001% chance that you make decent money.

All in all, million dollar companies don't find investment partners on craigs.

I wouldn't touch that with a ten foot pole. I know commercial finance and if he doesn't even have an executive summary ready, he is at least a year from anyone even considering funding.

    Hey Allie,

Good luck with your search bro! But I wouldn't touch that if I were you!

Also, please be careful with posting active campaigns in a forum like this, as it will send the wrong message to noobs who think its ok to do that. Just wanted to point that out.

    Anyway, RUUUUUUUUUNNNNNNNNNNN!!!!!!!!!!!!

Couldn't I turn the tables? Use his investments to fund my own project? The reason I felt it was legitimate was because he actually wanted to meet face to face. I guess I also fair the chance of getting mugged or raped. I don't think I'll do it, but I do appreciate the opinions. Thank you guys.

Never work with anyone who can't spell "executive summary" correctly. A VC would laugh in his/her face.

If you do ever meet anyone, meet them in a public place... Panara Bread, Diner, restaurant etc.

Not only did he spell "ad" wrong... but he spelled "fourth" wrong as well. That doesn't mean its not legit... but I'd be real careful. Not worth your time trying to "turn the tables". Better off moving in your own direction and making some money!
