On my (real) social/dating site profile. I could have been a dick, but this person needs help.... THE MESSAGE: wassup, I was checking 'round for people like me, & I found ur lil' site. You seem to be a pretty hip person, but im kinda new at how things work here, and don't really know where to go here. Don't they have a chat thing here?? Well, i hate writing messages to ppl, and sometimes not getting an answer. Well, if you wanna talkin' with me, you could catch me over @ (affiliatelinkhere/id=8971234597) , my name there is hot_bunny. So, ya, hope to chat with you. always looking to find more ppl. Robin Smith MY RESPONSE: Don't you know how to cloak an affiliate link? I would say that you are preaching to the choir, but apparently you're not. You want in the choir and you couldn't hit a note with over-sized a baseball bat. Tell you what. Your message sucks and is totally unbelievable. Work on that. I would say your best bet is to go to CL (craigslist) and find a personals ad that has been up for a while. If it has been up for a while, then you know that it does not "look" like spam to most people as it has not been flagged and removed. Look at a few. See what they are doing and do that. Next, people you mail this message to need a reason to check out your profile at this other site you are promoting. Why would they leave FTJ if they could just chat, see your pics, vote on you and what not without doing so? Say you are new, that you have a BIG profile at other this site, with lots of pictures, maybe a video, etc. Finally, your affiliate link: Looks like shit and is a dead give away. Go to pinURL(dot)com or Offto(dot)net and cloak it. Use your girls name (if that's not you) as the cloaked address. Anyway, It's not much, but I hope that helps. Well, I know it will help at least some. Anything over what you are trying to do with that message would be an improvement. Let me know if you have any questions about all this. I should be able to help you. Oh, one more thing. The language of that site that you are sending people to is nativity German. You are promoting it in USA.... I'll let you ponder that for a moment. Maybe you can put two and two together on that and figure a solution.
