It's just a heads up to those who are running the latest version (8.8.5) of the iMacros Firefox addon and experiencing freezing lately when looping a macro. People all over the place are reporting this problem, see the latest comment on the addon's page for instance. You can spare yourself the headache if you read on. It can freeze basically at any point, sometimes it runs 100 loops, sometimes it only runs a couple of loops than it freezes, setting errorignore to yes doesn't solve this issue, because there's no error messages, it just freezes and/or the browser starts blinking/flashing. At first i thought it's a macro issue, so i tried to correct it, that didn't work, than i thought it has something to do with java/flash being outdated, but they weren't, than i thought other addons may interfering with iMacros, so i disabled all, that didn't help either, then i thought it's a browser related issue, i updated to the latest Firefox version 33, 33.0.1, 33.0.2, i didn't solve the problem. The solution: They fucked up something with the latest iMacros version 8.8.5, so you should downgrade the addon to version 8.8.2: Code: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/imacros-for-firefox/versions/?page=1#version-8.8.2 And your macros will continue looping w/o any problem just as before. Protip: on the Firefox addon page turn off the automatic updates, because if you restart the browser, it will autoupdate the addon by default.
