Ok, so I know it's pretty much old news. But a couple months back, i'm googling something, and next thing you know, the next day, I see a Banner ad for one of the websites I visited.

NOT COOL. I mean, I know big brother is watching you, but that is a little bit TOO much. I felt so violated. I didn't even care about the particular website. I was looking up alarms because i saw an alarms sales job. Now every once in a while, google throws it back into my face. The same with some real estate information I was looking up for a friend. Am I the only one that is just totally creeped out by this?

Is there some way to disable only the banner ads. I kinda like being able to access my search history, but these ads are too much.

Don't worry, you are just a blob of flesh for G, no need to take it personal

They will optimize advertisement for you by your used keywords so they can get best conversion, nothing special... just cookie + saving your IP for googling some keywords.

There is a google plugin to opt out of this:
    google(.)com/ads/preferences/plugin/

    No more creepy ads...

Visited AirBNB.com and now all I see is their banner, on every website that has AdSense.

Use a Private Proxy and clear your cache, cookies and you shouldn't have this problem anymore.

I think that internet marketers shouldn't be marketed to by the G and believe me, they know you market things on the net. They also index peoples life styles.

plus it makes a mockery of G's constant whining about content and relevance. I have been on gaming sites and hit with constant ads for a keyword research site
