Hiya,

I'm a newbie when it comes to crypto. I've only played with steem in the past, but that's about it.

My question is: do you think it has any potential?

And, what does the Tron merger mean for the currency?

As far as I remember it was taken over by Justin Sun and there was a huge scandal on the platform. The people that didn't want to be centralized moved to HIVE. Google for more details

Absolutely not. It's been dying out slowly for the past 2-3 years.
I blogged on it regularly about 4 years ago, it was fun back then.
